I am keen to teach maths, physics, and chemistry as I gained Advanced Highers (A-levels) in these subject areas. I have completed SQA curricula at National 5, Higher, and Advanced Higher. At National 5 (GCSE) I did biology, chemistry, engineering science, English, history, Latin, mathematics, and Physics. At Higher (AS-level), I studied: business management, chemistry, engineering science, mathematics, and physics. At Advanced Higher (A-level), I did chemistry, mathematics, mechanics, and physics. I achieved an A in every subject at all levels. I graduated secondary school as the second highest advanced higher performer...

Levels & subjects taught: Lower level: Science and Mathematics (all boards) GCSE: Physics, Biology and Chemistry (AQA, Edexcel, iGCSE) A level: Biology and Chemistry (AQA, Edexcel, iGCSE) Languages: - English ( IELTS band 8) - Hindi (native) -Bengali (mother tongue) Exam board experience: OCR, Edexcel, AQA, CBSE, ICSE SEND (Special Education Needs and Disability) experience: - I can handle students with anxiety and exam stress and attention span issues. Preferred student age group: preferred student age(s) : I prefer GCSE / A- levels students but I can also teach primary school students. Hi I'm Samarth, I'm an international Master student at LMU, Munich studying Molecular and Cellular Biology. I've always been told by my peers how I have a flair for explaining things in a crisp and clear manner and hence I thought of joining GoStudent as a Tutor. I have loved biology right for as long as I remember and it was a lecture in high school about Mendelian genetics is what made me pursue a career in academics. I believe biology is best understood when one can visualize the concepts well and when each of the processes are broken down to the steps that they are composed of. It's when difficult concepts are broken down into easier digestible concepts is when studying really becomes fun. Biology and Chemistry go hand in hand, a good grasp of concepts in chemistry is extremely important to pursue biology at higher levels. This therefore also makes me pretty well versed with Chemistry upto A levels. Hobbies: Apart from academics, I've been an avid reader and have had an equally intense love for the arts particularly singing and painting. I have been classically trained in both music and art, and I believe having a co-curricular activity one enjoys and has talent for should be pursued by everyone. I also am an avid reader and absolutely love a nice slice of life or academic research paper to keep both my creative outlet and knowledge base updated. I completed my schooling and Bachelors in Biomedical Science at the University of Delhi, India and am then went on to pursue my masters in Molecular and Cellular Biology in Germany at LMU, Munich. I've had a penchant for the sciences particularly biology and chemistry since middle school which led me to pursue my bachelors in Biomedical Science from the University of Delhi. Since I want to further my career into research I'm now working as a Research Assistant in Munich and plan to pursue my PhD in Epigenetics as well as actively communicate my research through scientific illustrations in the coming years.

Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for 8 months. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom. I also prepared year 11 and 13 students for their GCSE and A levels by covering content they were unsure of and practising exam techniques. I previously gained experience mentoring GCSE students at my school. I am a student with dyslexia, so I understand the challenges students face in classroom settings. Anyone can be successful, which is why my sessions are student-led, so that they are catered towards each individual's learning style. If you are unsure of this throughout my school career, I have learnt different methods that work for me and would love to pass them on to others so that we can find a technique that works for you. I attended Rugby School, where I completed my GCSEs and A levels, and now I have gone on to study for a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance at Lancaster University, where my ambition is to become an ACA Chartered Accountant. Having studied Chemistry, Economics and Maths at A level, I offer tutoring for students up to and including year 11 in Maths and Chemistry and then Economics up to and including year 13 students.

Hi, I’m Shariqa, a passionate and dedicated tutor here to help you excel in your studies. I’m currently an undergraduate student at Queen Mary University of London, majoring in Biology, and I tutor not only Biology but also GCSE Chemistry and Physics. During my GCSEs, I initially struggled with some of the more complex concepts in Biology. One day, my teacher took the time to break things down in a way that finally made sense to me. Her patience and ability to connect the subject to my understanding completely transformed how I engaged with science. Unlike other teachers whose methods didn’t quite resonate with me, she sparked something—a love for Biology that remains with me to this day. From that moment on, I was driven not just to deepen my own understanding of Biology, but to help others experience those same “aha” moments—whether that’s in GCSE Biology, Physics, or Chemistry. I’m looking forward to helping you reach your full potential. So what are you waiting for. Book me in and we can get started. Education: Access to Higher Education Science Diploma – Achieved all 60 credits with distinctions and one pass BSc in Biology – Currently studying at Queen Mary University of London PGCE in Secondary Biology – Set to undertake at UCL in 2025.
