Hi! I’m Tom! I’m 20, and I’ve been in education my whole life. After a switch to a new teacher in Y9, I fell in love with education, especially Maths. I currently live in Newcastle. In my spare time, I participate in Athletics and Darts, the latter of which I act as Secretary for the University associated club. I completed my GCSE’s in 2022, achieving a grade 9 in Mathematics (A* equivalent). I went on to study Maths and Further Maths at A level, achieving an A* in Maths and an A in Further Maths. I studied BSc Maths and Economics for 1 year at *Russell-Group* Newcastle University, before switching to BSc Mathematics, where I am now.

What drives me as a teacher is my passion for helping students realize their full potential—academically and personally. My approach blends structure with creativity, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable. With a background in psychology, I understand how students think, learn, and stay motivated. When I am teaching, I use creative and critical thinking techniques to help my students to acquire in-depth understanding of fundamental concepts of mathematics.
