I'm Leanne, a second year physics student at Imperial College London. I love physics and maths and want to share my passion with students to inspire and empower them. I have experience working with students of all ages and believe that every student has the ability to achieve anything they want to given the correct support. Outside of my degree I also do a lot of music, playing the trumpet in orchestras and wind bands. In my free time I also love reading and theatre. I am currently an undergraduate student at Imperial College London. I am in the second year of my 4 year MSc in Physics specialising in theoretical physics. Watching my students progress step by step and reach new heights is what drives me as a teacher. Outside of teaching, I’m a gamer, a photographer, and a farmer. Lately, I’ve also been diving into writing, exploring storytelling as another way to inspire and create. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology, majoring in microbiology. Throughout my studies, I had multiple opportunities to tutor others, which sparked my passion for education. Later, I branched out into teaching English to ESL students, where I found great fulfillment in helping learners grow in confidence and communication. Each year, my experience deepens, becoming more specialized as I refine my approach to teaching.
