Hi! I’m Kai, a fairly easy-going guy from London and I have been tutoring for just over 5 years and love every minute of it! I am here to help you ace your exams and provide that 'lightbulb' moment! Whichever way you learn best I will tailor my lessons to you. I tend to use many different resources depending on what suits your learning style, for example I usually incorporate diagrams and flowcharts to visualise some of the tricker concepts. I know when I was a student, having a tutor was a huge benefit to me as I was able to understand concepts from a different point of view. Away from tutoring, I am also a huge fan of football (Real Madrid of course!) and Athletics, mostly 100m and 200m sprinting and I previously represented both my County and Athletics Club several times at regional level. I'm quite passionate about helping students succeed because I've been in the same situation myself. I’m a patient and approachable tutor who thrives on seeing pupils grow in confidence and understanding. I have a good background in Physics and Maths, I tutor up to A-level in Maths, backed by top grades (9 in GCSE Maths, A* in A-level Maths, and A in Further Maths). I’ve helped students achieve their academic goals, including guiding a family friend to an A in A-level Maths, securing her place at her first-choice university. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to challenge students while encouraging them to take risks and learn from their mistakes. I often use graph sketches, Venn diagrams and rough drawings to help illustrate problems. Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about sports, especially football, tennis, and basketball, and I’m an avid Manchester United fan even if they're not very good! I attended Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College where I completed both my GCSEs and A-levels. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Business studies and Computer Science at A-level. After my A-levels I went to the University of Nottingham where I graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.
