Hello, I’m Ambrin, an experienced tutor with several years of expertise in teaching a variety of subjects to UK students across different age groups, up to A-level. I am excited about the opportunity to work with GoStudent, where I can share my unique approach to problem-solving and critical thinking with a new group of learners. The subjects I will be tutoring include: • 11+ Exam Preparation • Business Management • English • Maths (up to GCSE) • Human Resources I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources and have been studying business since my A-levels and GCSEs. Maths and English have been fundamental subjects throughout my academic journey, and I frequently apply them in accounting and report writing. I have several years of experience tutoring students in maths, starting from primary school level. Additionally, I have provided guidance in English, business, and other core subjects, helping students strengthen their understanding and excel academically.

I teach senior high school mathematics at all levels, from foundational to advanced. With years of experience as a government tax specialist and roles as a system analyst, programmer, and statistician in IT, I transitioned to teaching, which has always been my passion. I began tutoring in college to support my expenses and discovered the rewarding challenge of working with a student with dyscalculia. Through tailored strategies and building strong rapport, she succeeded. My diverse background has made me resourceful and innovative, enhancing my effectiveness in both teaching and problem-solving. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from St. Scholastica’s College, Manila, where I completed challenging courses such as Calculus, Statistical Analysis, Number Theory, and Linear Algebra. I also pursued post-graduate studies in Mathematics Education at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, focusing on educational strategies and child development, with research on learning disabilities. Although I couldn’t complete my thesis due to budget constraints, I am skilled in teaching all levels of mathematics, including Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Statistics, and Business Mathematics.

I'm Leanne, a second year physics student at Imperial College London. I love physics and maths and want to share my passion with students to inspire and empower them. I have experience working with students of all ages and believe that every student has the ability to achieve anything they want to given the correct support. Outside of my degree I also do a lot of music, playing the trumpet in orchestras and wind bands. In my free time I also love reading and theatre. I am currently an undergraduate student at Imperial College London. I am in the second year of my 4 year MSc in Physics specialising in theoretical physics.
