Hi. I am a 24 year old recent graduate with a first class master's degree in Mathematics from Durham University. I specialise in tutoring A Level and GCSE Maths, and have experience working alongside children with a range of educational needs (including those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD, and autism) both in person and here online. Outside of tutoring I enjoy board games, motorsport, and playing the guitar. I have a first class master's degree in mathematics from Durham University, specialising in pure mathematics and mathematical modelling. I studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, and Biology at A Level where I achieved 3 A*s and an A. I achieved 4 A*s, 6 As and 1 B at GCSE Level.

Hi! My name is Fariha Delwer and I’m a medical student at Queen’s University Belfast with a real enthusiasm for teaching and helping others learn. I have experience tutoring GCSE Science and A-Level Chemistry, and I enjoy making tricky concepts simple and approachable. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, whether that’s building confidence in the basics or developing exam techniques for top grades. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and motivated to succeed. I am currently studying Medicine at Queen’s University Belfast, where I continue to build on my strong academic background in science. At A-level I studied at Bancroft's doing Chemistry, Biology, Religious Studies and an EPQ, achieving top grades (A* A* A) that reflect my commitment and ability in these subjects. At GCSEs I went to Southend High School for Girls, where I achieved nine 9s. Alongside my degree, I have developed teaching experience by tutoring GCSE Science and A-Level Chemistry, where I have learned how to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt my approach to suit different learning styles. My education has not only given me subject knowledge but also strong communication and problem-solving skills that I bring to every tutoring session.

I'm quite passionate about helping students succeed because I've been in the same situation myself. I’m a patient and approachable tutor who thrives on seeing pupils grow in confidence and understanding. I have a good background in Physics and Maths, I tutor up to A-level in Maths, backed by top grades (9 in GCSE Maths, A* in A-level Maths, and A in Further Maths). I’ve helped students achieve their academic goals, including guiding a family friend to an A in A-level Maths, securing her place at her first-choice university. My lessons are engaging, supportive, and designed to challenge students while encouraging them to take risks and learn from their mistakes. I often use graph sketches, Venn diagrams and rough drawings to help illustrate problems. Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about sports, especially football, tennis, and basketball, and I’m an avid Manchester United fan even if they're not very good! I attended Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College where I completed both my GCSEs and A-levels. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Business studies at A-level. After my A-levels I went to the University of Nottingham where I graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Economics.

I have been a tutor for 2 years, specialising in Maths and English, but I am comfortable teaching a range of subjects. I am in my first year of university studying Law, which has given me many skills such as attention to detail and a strong work ethic. I transfer these qualities to tutoring, and my priority is helping students excel in their studies by providing effective and engaging lessons that tailor to each child's needs. I completed my GCSEs in The Abbey School and my A levels in Kendrick School, achieving results of a high standard that I was proud of. I am now studying Law in university, which has been a passion of mine for many years. My education journey has provided me with joyful and beneficial experiences, as well as challenges that have developed my resilience and shaped me as a person.
