HAving delivered over 3500 private lessons, I’ve developed a unique program that addresses both the theoretical and practical aspects of language and literature studies. Over the past 4 years, I’ve helped more than 140 students achieve at least a grade 7 in their GCSEs. About Me Language is not just a tool for communication, it's rather a reflection of how we see ourselves, our world and culture. I am a PhD candidate who recently published a paper on sexism and gender bias to help promote social justice by teaching politically correct language. In light of my educational research I learned that each student has a unique mind and uses different techniques to learn. Hence, my responsibility entails guiding each individual to unlock their complete potential. In my free time you'll always find me in the gym, or on a football pitch. About me: I am completing my Physics degree at the University of Manchester and used to compete in Physics and Astronomy competitions at school, which inspired me to pursue a career as a scientist. One of my hobbies is astronomy, especially stargazing and tracking meteors during meteor showers. Still, my true passion is to make knowledge accessible to as many people as possible and use science to make the world a slightly better place. Any additional languages: Bulgarian I am currently completing my Physics undergrad (preceded by a foundation year) at the University of Manchester. I graduated from one of the most elite high schools in my home country, which focused on Maths and Computer science. I used to compete in Physics and Astronomy competitions and olympiads, where I was one of the top-performing students. Before I studied Physics, I studied Architecture for two years at the same university - I wanted to try something different, since I love arts and see myself as a very creative person, but realised that science was my true passion and switched to Physics, where you find me now. I have worked several part-time jobs and completed several internships to support myself alongside my studies. These include an internship as a civil servant, part of the Government Operational Research Service, and the National Teaching Internship Programme, provided by the Department of Education. The teaching internship involved teaching GCSE and A-level Maths and Physics to students between years 7 and 12 in a few local schools and colleges. This experience helped me realise how much I enjoy teaching, fostering critical thinking skills in others, and guiding them towards discovering their passions. It also taught me how inclusive and expansive science can be and how crucial education is.

Hello! My name is Jhuzen, but you can call me Zen. I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over five years of experience specializing in Algebra and Geometry. I’m passionate about making math both accessible and enjoyable, and I always strive to adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s individual needs. I believe that with the right support, anyone can improve their math skills and gain confidence. I have a strong desire to travel the world and immerse myself in different cultures, learning from each place I visit. In my downtime, I enjoy watching a variety of videos and movies, especially ones that broaden my horizons or simply bring a bit of fun to my day. I hold a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, but my true passion lies in teaching mathematics. I feel entirely confident in this subject, and this is reflected in my ability to present complex concepts in a straightforward and highly effective way.
