I am a qualified teacher with 4 years of experience in teaching English. I currently teach Grade 1 learners in South Africa. I believe that learning should be fun and encourage a holistic development. I enjoy reading and hiking. I also enjoy trying out different kinds of food. I completed my matric at Wordsworth High school, thereafter I enrolled for Hospitality Studies at the International Hotel School and graduated in 2017. I further enrolled at the University of KwaZulu Natal for my BEd Degree and specialized in the Foundation Phase. I am currently a Foundation Phase teacher and teach Grade 1 learners. I am also currently studying for my Honors Degree at the University of Pretoria specializing in Learner Support.

Helping others has always been something Ive tried to do wherever possible and is one of the main reasons why Ive tutored in the past and also why I want to become a Doctor. I am a determined and goal orientated individual who enjoys achieving fulfilment through completing tasks and activities. I can be quite competitive but never to mine or my teams detriment as the greater goal always outweighs personal gain. Football, swimming, cricket and basketball are some of my favourite sports and I like to believe that my love of sports and playing them has increased my communication, cooperation and leadership skills.
