She teaches the subjects in a way I can understand while also explaining it if I need help. She has helped me increase my grades by going over subjects that I'm struggling in , her expiations' are easy to understand yet on complex topics, its also very memorable during mocks , and exams.

GCSE: English Literature and English Language A-Level: English Literature Exam board exp: AQA, Edexcel, Pearson, WJEC, Junior/Leaving Certificate Experience with: KS2, KS3 Languages: English Experience with special needs/disabilities: Mental stress, dyslexia, anxiety, SEN, ADHD Preferred student age group: years 9-13 About me: I am an English and Creative Writing graduate from South East England! I love reading, writing poetry and short stories in my free time. I also enjoy art and music. I found exams pretty scary in school but managed to get on top of those nerves, leaving me feeling equipped to support students preparing for exams. Tackling revision and getting ready for tests doesn't have to be as scary as it seems - we'll do it together! I aim to support students academically and encourage enjoyment of English as it is a subject I am very passionate about. I have been tutoring for 4 years now- privately since 2021 and for GS since March 2022 and I find it an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience. General availability: All weekdays. Mondays+Tuesdays 11am-7pm, Wednesdays-Fridays 5.30pm-8pm Weekends are subject to change on occasion. (Updated termly) During my time with GoStudent I have supported many students since March 2022, with all of my 2023 GCSE students achieving excellent marks ranging from 6-9s in their exams. In 2024 I broadened my experience to both the Irish and Welsh exam boards and my students each accomplished their desired grades with a full sweep of passes in both GCSEs and A-Levels!! This year my students have already shown great improvements and I have continued supporting my long-term students, some of whom I have now been tutoring for 3 years! I am always happy to discuss progress and work on strategy with both parent and student and will adjust to the needs of both accordingly. GCSE: 7-9 English Literature, English Language, Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Spanish, History, RS and Art A-Level: A*AA English Literature, Psychology and RS Enhanced DBS Check Safeguarding Level 1 course completion. I am known by my peers to be a highly enthusiastic, young healthcare student with a positive attitude towards learning. I have a keen interest in helping pupils excel in their studies by making it easier for them to reach their goals through an adaptable teaching style to meet each student’s needs. Besides academia, I am someone who is passionate about learning languages, as well as playing sports like Badminton and playing guitar. I love trying new things and I am always up for a challenge that may come my way. At university, I was a student representative for 2 years, hence I have experience of being a leader.

Elyn S.

Hello! My name is Elyn and I am studying Product Design Engineering at the University of Liverpool as a first year undergraduate. I have been a tutor for around a year and half teaching 14-16 year olds and prepping students for their GCSEs. I have a great fondness for teaching, as education has always been a big aspect of my life. I love learning and encouraging others to learn STEM in a more intriguing way. I will be open to teaching GCSE and A level economics, maths and physics. Other facts about me is that I scrapbook, I indulge in art as a creative outlet and competed in the Industrial Cadets Gold project during Year 12. I completed my GCSEs at Cecil Jones Academy and gained 9-5s in: design & technology, Mandarin, maths, chemistry, biology, physics, business, English literature, English language, geography and religious studies. I finished my A levels at Greensward Academy and gained: A at economics, B in maths and C in physics. I am now attending the University of Liverpool studying Product Design Engineering as a first year undergraduate. During my time in sixth form I competed in the Industrial Cadets Gold Project in a group of 6 gaining the "Best Concept Design" and "Most Innovative Project" award. As part of my work experience I have been a tutor for a year and a half and did a 3 week placement for a railway electrification company. These experiences has given a lot of independence and team working skills which I hope may inspire future students.
