I am an extremely enthusiastic and positive person. I currently teach English early years, Primary school/Reception year. SEND Primary and Highschool and ESL, with over 25 years experience. Patience is my middle name. I am an energetic and a fun teacher. Using a variety of methods including: auditory, visual, reading/writing, verbal and kinaesthetic movement. I look forward to meeting you, my future student. My academic journey started after high school and continues to present. Studying and learning never stops. It is a part of self growth. I actively ensure I continuously follow CLP. Fields of teaching include: English Reception year, English Primary school, English Primary and Highschool for SEN, SEND and ALN students who are looking to improve their skills in English. I also teach English as a Second language and Business English. An achievement of mine was when one of my students won GOLD at the Shanghai Special Olympics. I am a qualified and experienced science teacher specialising in Biology, with a proven record of delivering results with classes at GCSE and A-level. helping students build confidence, master complex concepts, and achieve their academic goals. I will provide personalised and engaging lessons to facilitate and support your learning. I attended Westcliff High School for boys at secondary school, achieving the following results: 12 A*-A grades including Maths & English, with A*'s in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I attended the same school for my A-levels and achieved the following results: Biology (A), Religious Education (A), English Literature (B), Chemistry (B). Further to this, I also achieved an AS Level Qualifications in Critical Thinking (C). Following this, I attended the University of Bristol and studied Biology for my undergraduate degree. I achieved a BCs in Biology with a 2:1 grade. After this, I started working as an instructor and teaching science full time. I worked as a teacher of science at a secondary school for just over three academic year and during the time I attended the university of Buckingham and completed my PGCE to become a qualified teacher. Further to this I also have other experience in coaching and mentoring roles. In 2016, I volunteered for 6 weeks in a primary school in Accra, Ghana. My primary role was teaching English to students, but as a level 1 qualified rugby coach, I helped introduce organised sport in the school. I have also obtained my Active IQ Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training and prior to and during university I worked as a personal trainer. In August 2023 I left my post as a teacher of science and I served a a production manager before being promoted to Head of Production at an event management company, overseeing a team of eight and managing large-scale projects.
