Hi, I’m Amaan—a 4th-year medical student at Keele with a passion for teaching. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at GCSE and A-Level. With years of experience tutoring students and mentoring peers, I focus on building confidence, understanding, and results. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each child’s learning style. Whether your child is aiming for top grades or needs extra support, I’ll help them achieve their full potential. I passed the 11+ and attended King Edward VI School in Stratford-upon-Avon, where I achieved straight A* grades in A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. My name is Jillian Rowe, and I am a passionate Mathematics Teacher who finds true joy in teaching. I love teaching because it deeply satisfies me to be part of my students’ success, and it is very rewarding to witness their growth and achievements. I teach Mathematics to learners of any age, and my mission is to make the subject more approachable and less intimidating. I also live by the belief of working hard until I reach success, a mindset I encourage my students to adopt as well. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading inspirational books, singing, jogging, and walking, which keep me motivated and balanced in both life and work. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education, Major in Instructional Leadership, at Pangasinan State University, where I have consistently maintained excellent grades. I previously graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics, at John Paul College, which gave me a solid foundation in teaching and learning. Alongside my formal teaching career, I have extensive experience in tutoring students of different ages, including a 5-year-old, a 13-year-old, and a 17-year-old, in both English and Mathematics. I also have meaningful experience working with students who have special educational needs (SEN), ensuring that I provide inclusive and supportive learning tailored to each learner’s needs.

Outside of tutoring, I love 💻 coding, ⚽ sports, and 💪 working hard — and I bring that same energy and motivation into my lessons I am currently an undergraduate Computing student at the University of Greater Manchester. Before starting my degree, I completed my GCSEs with a strong focus on mathematics, then progressed through a Foundation Year in Computing, which built my skills in maths, logic, and problem-solving and prepared me for degree-level study.

I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. I also enjoy being on stage and taking part in theatre productions, as acting allows me to express myself in a completely different way. In quieter moments, I like to dabble in a bit of art through painting and crafts, and more recently I’ve started learning how to crochet, which has been both fun and rewarding. I’m also an animal lover, especially cats in particular. I enjoy using my creativity most when it comes to teaching, finding ways to make learning easier and, just as importantly, enjoyable. I believe that learning is not just about absorbing knowledge but also about building a skill that you can use throughout life I attended West Buckland School from Year 7 to Year 13, between September 2016 and July 2022. In 2020, I completed 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 6 to 9, including a 7 in English and Physics, an 8 in Mathematics, and a 9 in both Biology and Chemistry. I then studied A-levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification. Now I am a 4th year medical student.
