Hello! My name is Stephanie Mazambi and I’m in my second year at King’s College London studying Medicine. Alongside my academic, teaching students is a genuine passion of mine as I love to help students unlock their full potential and secure the grades they deserve. Guiding peers through the intricacies of academics has been my joy. From achieving stellar GCSE results, including 2x 7`s, 2x 9`s, and 5x 8`s, to securing an A in A-Level Biology, my journey has been marked by dedication to learning. Also, recently completing my A-levels, I understand how hard and frustrating preparation for exams can be and hope to be a helping hand to those who need it. Have previously been involved in Regional + National Lego Robotic Competitions and have mentored for students after. Currently, I am studying Medicine at King`s College London where biology and chemistry are still very valuable and I would be able to offer any advice to any prospective medical students. I am an energetic, passionate young academic with a Bachelors in Arts and an ongoing Masters in Literature, Languages and Cultures department. I have been tutoring for 3 years now and have experience in language tutorship. With my passion for English language and literature, I am sure I could assist any student on the path towards their goals! Hi, I’m Amelia Hope, an enthusiastic and dedicated math teacher! I enjoy making math simple and approachable while building confidence and curiosity in my students. I bring lessons to life with real-world applications, interactive activities, and fun challenges that make learning exciting. Outside of teaching, I love playing chess, which sharpens my problem-solving skills, and experimenting with baking and cooking, where I embrace creativity and growth. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, where I built a strong foundation in problem-solving, logical thinking, and core mathematical principles. My studies equipped me with the ability to simplify complex concepts, connect lessons to real-life situations, and make learning meaningful. I am also TEFL-certified, which has strengthened my skills in communication, lesson planning, and adapting to diverse learning styles. This combination of academic training and certification allows me to create lessons that are accurate, engaging, and supportive, helping every student grow with confidence.

I help students turn ‘I can’t do it’ into ‘I actually enjoy this!’ — by building confidence through patience, positivity, and creative teaching. I specialise in Maths and 11+ preparation, supporting students of all abilities to feel calm, capable, and motivated. My background as a learning support assistant taught me how to break complex ideas into clear, manageable steps — especially for learners who struggle with confidence or anxiety around maths. I use interactive methods, games, and real-life examples to keep lessons fun and memorable. Above all, I believe progress starts with encouragement, and I aim to create lessons where students feel supported, proud of their effort, and inspired to keep improving. I studied Psychology at university, where I developed a strong understanding of how students learn and how confidence impacts performance. My studies helped me recognise that progress isn’t just about intelligence — it’s about mindset and approach. Before that, I achieved three A-Levels and gained hands-on experience working in schools as a learning support assistant, supporting students across maths, English, and general study skills. I’m now planning to continue my studies in Marketing and Business Management, combining my interest in psychology and communication with a passion for helping others grow and reach their potential. This mix of academic study and practical classroom experience has shaped my calm, supportive teaching style, helping me identify learning gaps quickly and adapt lessons to each student’s needs.
