Hi, I’m Elijah, and I’m passionate about making learning both enjoyable and rewarding. I love breaking down complex concepts in math and English into simple, easy-to-understand steps, helping students build confidence and a strong foundation. My approach is to make both subjects relatable, so they feel less like a challenge and more like a fun puzzle to solve. I believe that everyone can excel when given the right tools and support. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in University of Pangasinan and am working toward my professional license. My studies have provided me with a strong foundation in both mathematics and English, and I’ve seen how skills in one area can enhance understanding in the other. My background in engineering has helped me develop problem-solving skills that I apply in tutoring math, making complex concepts easier to grasp. I help students build confidence and skills in both math and English, enabling them to tackle challenges with clarity. In a supportive environment, I encourage questions, growth at their own pace, and the discovery of connections in their learning.

Mi nombre es Johanna y doy clases de ingles desde 2016. Las clases de ingles son mi lugar feliz, trato de que mis alumnos vean y sientan que me gusta estar ahi enseñandoles y ayudandolos a avanzar en sus estudios. Tambien tomo el encuentro de las clases como un momento para aprender y adquirir nuevas habilidades que me ayuden en mis practicas futuras. Estoy entusiasmada por aprender juntos! Comence el profesorado de Ingles en 2016. Desde ese momento comenzo mi experiencia en la docencia ya que podia inscribirme y dar clases profesionalmente. En el profesorado aprendi tanto a desarrollarme como docente aprendiendo de pedagogía como a desarrollarme profesionalmente y alcanzar un nivel alto de Ingles con materias como Gramatica y Lengua escrita en donde nos enfocabamos en lo académico.

My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math), and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching Mathematics. My journey in education is driven by my passion for mathematics and my desire to help students see the beauty in the subject. Teaching is something I’m deeply committed to, and I believe that with patience and the right approach, I can inspire students to develop a love for learning. In terms of character, I would describe myself as persistent and disciplined. I try to approach challenges with a positive attitude and always look for ways to grow, both personally and professionally. I value hard work, teamwork, and the idea of never giving up, whether it's in sports or academics. I believe that helping others and being a reliable friend and teacher are some of the most important things I can offer. I strive to be someone who encourages those around me to do their best and reach their full potential. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math) from Northern Mindanao Colleges Inc. in April 2016. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. My passion for mathematics and my dedication to education drive me to help students discover the beauty and relevance of the subject. Teaching is a profession I am deeply committed to, as I believe it is through education that I can make a lasting impact on students' lives. My goal as an educator is not only to help students master mathematical concepts but also to inspire them to develop a genuine interest in the subject. I understand that many students find math challenging, which is why I believe that patience and the right approach are key to helping them overcome obstacles. With a supportive learning environment, students can build confidence and come to appreciate math as a tool for critical thinking and problem-solving. As I continue my graduate studies, I am gaining deeper insights into effective teaching strategies and educational research, which will further enhance my ability to connect with students. Soy una profesora apasionada por enseñar inglés y ayudar a mis estudiantes a alcanzar sus metas de aprendizaje, sea para la escuela, el trabajo o simplemente por gusto. Tengo experiencia enseñando a niños, adolescentes y adultos, adaptándome siempre a sus niveles y necesidades específicas. Puedo impartir clases en niveles básicos e intermedios, y con dedicación, también en niveles más avanzados. Mi nivel de inglés avanzado (C1) me permite enseñar no solo gramática, sino también conversación y comprensión cultural de forma práctica y dinámica. He trabajado con estudiantes que tienen necesidades educativas especiales, como dificultades de atención o hiperactividad, creando clases personalizadas que los hagan sentir cómodos, valorados y motivados. Me encanta diseñar actividades interactivas que conviertan el aprendizaje en algo divertido y significativo, porque creo firmemente que una clase en la que te diviertes es una clase que siempre recordarás. En mi tiempo libre, disfruto explorar nuevas ideas, leer, escribir y seguir aprendiendo. Creo que enseñar un idioma es mucho más que enseñar palabras; es abrir una puerta a nuevas culturas, experiencias y oportunidades. Soy paciente, empática y siempre busco que mis estudiantes se sientan acompañados y confiados en su proceso de aprendizaje. Mi mayor satisfacción es ver cómo progresan y alcanzan sus objetivos, siempre con una sonrisa en el camino. Estoy en el décimo semestre de la carrera de Negocios y Relaciones Internacionales, con una especialización en Gestión y Planificación del Desarrollo. Esta formación me ha brindado un enfoque integral en temas de comercio, negociación internacional y estrategias para el desarrollo sostenible. Además, he complementado mis estudios con cursos de inglés que me han llevado a alcanzar un nivel avanzado (C1), lo cual me permite enseñar este idioma de manera eficaz y dinámica. Durante mi carrera, he trabajado en proyectos educativos y sociales, desarrollando habilidades organizativas, pedagógicas y de trabajo en equipo. Mi experiencia también incluye la creación de programas educativos ambientales y el diseño de actividades personalizadas para diferentes grupos, especialmente niños y adolescentes. Estoy comprometida con seguir aprendiendo y creciendo profesionalmente, integrando mis conocimientos académicos y experiencia para inspirar a otros a través de la enseñanza.
