Soy una persona analítica y curiosa, siempre busco comprender a fondo los temas antes de opinar o enseñar. Me apasiona la programación, la enseñanza y la ingeniería, y disfruto desglosando conceptos complejos en explicaciones claras y accesibles. Tengo una gran paciencia y empatía al enseñar, ya que entiendo que cada estudiante aprende a su propio ritmo. Mi enfoque no se basa en la memorización, sino en explicar el porqué de las cosas, demostrando cómo funcionan los conceptos desde la raíz para que realmente se comprendan y puedan aplicarse con confianza. Además de mi pasión por la tecnología y la enseñanza, me interesa el deporte, la música y el aprendizaje continuo en distintas áreas. Soy estudiante de Ingeniería Industrial, con especial interés en la intersección entre la mecánica, la optimización de procesos y el desarrollo de software. Mi trayectoria académica me ha permitido desarrollar habilidades tanto en el ámbito técnico como en la enseñanza, impartiendo más de 1,200 clases en programación, matemáticas y ciencias a estudiantes de distintos niveles. Además de mi formación en ingeniería, cuento con una sólida experiencia en desarrollo de software, especializándome en Flutter, SwiftUI, Java y Python, y he trabajado en proyectos como aplicaciones de gestión de restaurantes, parquímetros urbanos y comercio electrónico. Mi enfoque en la enseñanza combina explicaciones profundas con aplicaciones prácticas, garantizando que mis alumnos no solo aprendan, sino que comprendan realmente lo que están estudiando.

Hi! My name is Juliana Gualteros and I am a Biomedical Engineering student in my tenth semester at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic journey, mathematics has been a fundamental part of my training, helping me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I have experience as a university tutor, where I supported students in understanding complex topics and building confidence in their abilities. This experience taught me that every student learns differently, and that patience, clarity, and encouragement are key to effective learning. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students solve math problems, but also to help them truly understand the concepts behind them. I believe that with the right guidance, practice, and support, any student can improve their skills and gain confidence in mathematics. I work with primary and secondary students and adapt my teaching methods to each student’s pace and learning style. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically. I am currently a tenth-semester Biomedical Engineering student at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic training, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, including algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematical reasoning, which are essential tools in engineering and scientific analysis. During my studies, I also worked as a university tutor, supporting other students in understanding complex topics and strengthening their problem-solving skills. This experience allowed me to develop clear communication, patience, and the ability to explain difficult concepts in a structured and accessible way. In addition to my academic work, I have been actively involved in research activities. I have received two Meritorious Mention awards at research seedbed meetings—one at the national level and another at the international level—recognizing the quality and impact of my research. I was also a speaker at the VI International Seminar on Autism, where I presented work related to biomedical engineering and neuroscience. I have also completed training in Advanced Excel and Power BI, which has strengthened my data analysis and visualization skills, allowing me to work effectively with numerical information and present complex data in a clear and organized way. My educational background has helped me approach mathematics not only from a theoretical perspective but also from a practical one, allowing me to show students how mathematical concepts can be applied to real-life situations.

I’m a 24-year-old Mexican chemical engineer who loves teaching and making education fun, dynamic, and engaging. I’m passionate about helping others learn in creative and meaningful ways. I love spicy food, and in my free time I watch TikTok to stay updated on memes and world news. I also love weightlifting and running to stay active I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate from Universidad Autónoma del Carmen (UNACAR) with a focus on the petroleum industry. Living in a region where Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) drives commerce, I gained hands-on experience performing hydrocarbon sampling in a laboratory setting.

Mi nombre es Paloma. Soy filóloga inglesa y me encanta enseñar el idioma que tanto me ha dado, el inglés. Me considero responsable y trabajadora, a la par que extrovertida y a veces un poco bromista, cosas que pienso que son fundamentales en cualquier clase de inglés o de lo que sea para que sean divertidas y funcionales a la vez. Tengo la carrera de Estudios Ingleses con un año de Erasmus en Inglaterra. También poseo el título de Máster de Profesorado, el cual realicé en la UGR y el año pasado realicé también un Máster de las TIC en Educación, el cual pienso que es clave para dar clases online.
