Hola a todos!! Soy David, soy graduado en Física, máster en Big Data deportivo y actualmente opositando para Radiofísica Hospitalaria. Tras una breve experiencia laboral en banca, me acerco al mundo de la educación repleto de ganas de ayudar y acercar las matemáticas y la física y química a todos ustedes. En cuanto a mí, me considero una persona empática y con una pasión muy grande por la ciencia. Gracias a esta combinación, me veo capaz de ayudarles con esos problemas que no se terminan de entender y a generar esa inquietud y curiosidad sobre conocer cómo funciona todo lo que nos rodea. Año de prácticas en el Banco Santander como analista de datos en el departamento de validación interna de riesgo no crédito. Allí aprendí a utilizar todo el conocimiento ya obtenido en mi periodo formativo y saber extrapolarlo al mundo laboral, junto con distintos cursos acerca de la ciencia de datos.

I’m a 24-year-old Mexican chemical engineer who loves teaching and making education fun, dynamic, and engaging. I’m passionate about helping others learn in creative and meaningful ways. I love spicy food, and in my free time I watch TikTok to stay updated on memes and world news. I also love weightlifting and running to stay active I’m a Chemical Engineering graduate from Universidad Autónoma del Carmen (UNACAR) with a focus on the petroleum industry. Living in a region where Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) drives commerce, I gained hands-on experience performing hydrocarbon sampling in a laboratory setting.

Soy Antonio, una persona formal pero alegre y cercana a la que gusta la seriedad pero dentro de una dinámica humana, paciente y tranquilo. En mi tiempo libre me encanta ver cualquier tipo de deporte o estar con mis amigos, así como ir al gimnasio. Por otra parte, la universidad me ha corroborado que me encanta estudiar así como enseñar lo que sé. Soy graduado en ingeniería de las tecnologías industriales por la Universidad de Sevilla, haciendo la especialidad de mecánica yendo a curso por año. Actualmente estoy finalizando el segundo año del máster de ingeniería industrial en Sevilla, también yendo a curso por año.

Hi! My name is Juliana Gualteros and I am a Biomedical Engineering student in my tenth semester at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic journey, mathematics has been a fundamental part of my training, helping me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I have experience as a university tutor, where I supported students in understanding complex topics and building confidence in their abilities. This experience taught me that every student learns differently, and that patience, clarity, and encouragement are key to effective learning. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students solve math problems, but also to help them truly understand the concepts behind them. I believe that with the right guidance, practice, and support, any student can improve their skills and gain confidence in mathematics. I work with primary and secondary students and adapt my teaching methods to each student’s pace and learning style. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically. I am currently a tenth-semester Biomedical Engineering student at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic training, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, including algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematical reasoning, which are essential tools in engineering and scientific analysis. During my studies, I also worked as a university tutor, supporting other students in understanding complex topics and strengthening their problem-solving skills. This experience allowed me to develop clear communication, patience, and the ability to explain difficult concepts in a structured and accessible way. In addition to my academic work, I have been actively involved in research activities. I have received two Meritorious Mention awards at research seedbed meetings—one at the national level and another at the international level—recognizing the quality and impact of my research. I was also a speaker at the VI International Seminar on Autism, where I presented work related to biomedical engineering and neuroscience. I have also completed training in Advanced Excel and Power BI, which has strengthened my data analysis and visualization skills, allowing me to work effectively with numerical information and present complex data in a clear and organized way. My educational background has helped me approach mathematics not only from a theoretical perspective but also from a practical one, allowing me to show students how mathematical concepts can be applied to real-life situations.
