Hello there! I'm Rochelle and I'm excited to be your tutor! I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics and also a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics. I've been a teacher for 6 years now, handling various subjects in Junior High School and Senior High School, age ranging from 10 to 23 years old. I am also an international coach in Mathematics Olympiad. I have a license as a professional teacher which I acquired last 2018. As an educator, my teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every student has the potential to excel when given the right support, guidance, and opportunities to learn. My role as a teacher is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel confident to express their ideas, take risks, and explore their potential. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher certified by Professional Regulation Commission with a Degree in Mathematics and 6 years of experience in managing the workplace and classrooms. I have a degree in Master of Arts in Education major in Mathematics where I’ve been honing my skills in teaching and further expanding my knowledge in the field of education. I started this journey in 2019, and completed it this September 2024. I earned my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Mathematics, in 2018. During my time there, I was a Dean’s Lister, demonstrating my passion and dedication to academic excellence. I graduated as Class Valedictorian during my Elementary and Secondary School. In terms of experience, I’ve been teaching as a Senior High School Teacher II since October 2021. I’ve had the opportunity to handle various subjects, including Mathematics, Practical Research, and Accounting related subjects. Before this, I had a brief stint as a substitute teacher in September 2021, and I also taught for three years at Jose Rizal Institute from 2018 to 2021, teaching Mathematics to both junior and senior high school students. I have already attended various trainings and seminars in Mathematics. Aside from that, I won different competitions in Mathematics, the recent was as a winning coach for National Olympiad and set to compete in International Olympiad. Through my experiences in different teaching environments, I’ve developed a strong foundation in instructional methods and a deep commitment to helping students excel in their academic pursuits. I've been studying every subject in English since second grade. I like ice skating, dancing and meeting new people. I've already taught english classes and I tried to adapt to the student, we even played games like Kahoots! My friends describe me as funny, social, easy to talk to and nice. I was very good with English, Spanish History, Lengua... All those kind of subjects. Based on my experience, to learn a language, the best way is to practice speaking and writting, and there are many different ways. I've studied in an american school, Aquinas American School (AAS) in which we practiced many different ways of learning.

Mi nombre es Marina y tengo 19 años, he vivido toda mi vida en Terrassa, una ciudad al lado de Barcelona. Soy una persona a la que le gusta bailar y jugar a pádel. Me describiría a mí misma cómo una persona empática y curiosa. También considero que soy comunicativa y resolutiva. Nacida en el año 2004, comencé mis estudios en la escuela llamada "Vedruna Vall" situada en Terrassa. Toda mi formación la hice en esta escuela y realicé el bachillerato científico, ya que me apasionan las ciencias. Actualmente, estoy cursando mi tercer año de biomedicina.

Soy Andrés Bernardo Agustina y estoy en cuarto curso del grado en Matemáticas de la UV, carrera que tenía claro que quería estudiar desde que tenía 15 años. Antes de decantarme por las matemáticas contemple otras opciones como estudiar Arquitectura, ya que desde pequeño me ha interesado mucho este mundo, y Física, debido a que me fascinaban (y todavía lo hacen) disciplinas como la física relativista, la física nuclear y sobre todo la astronomía. De pequeño conocía a los planetas del Sistema Solar con muchos de sus satélites, algunas estrellas lejanas, los diferentes objetos astronómicos... Era un tema que me generaba mucha curiosidad. Volviendo a las matemáticas, debo decir que elegí esta opción porque era la asignatura en la que más destacaba. Probablemente la causa de esto fuera el interés que le ponía a esta asignatura: desde primero de ESO hasta segundo de Bachiller participé en todas las Olimpiadas Matemáticas, en las que quedé tercero a escala provincial en primero de Bachiller y segundo en cuarto de ESO y segundo de Bachiller. También participé en el curso de Estímulo del Talento Matemático, ESTALMAT, de la Comunidad Valenciana. Dejando aparte los temas académicos, considero que soy una persona con mucha paciencia y no tengo ningún problema en explicar la lección las veces que hagan falta para que el alumno la interiorice. Además, estoy lo suficientemente cercano al trato y creo que puedo hacer que el ambiente de las clases sea suficientemente relajado. En 2004 entré en educación infantil en el CEIP Isabel Ferrer de Castellón de la Plana, centro donde estuve hasta 2013, año en el que terminé la educación primaria. La educación secundaria obligatoria la cursé en el IES La Plana, también en Castellón, donde estudié el Bachillerato científico. Desde 2019 estoy estudiando Matemáticas en la Universidad de Valencia. Como formación complementaria, participé en el proyecto de ampliación de conocimientos de matemáticas ESTALMAT entre los años 2014 y 2016.
