Hi! My name is Juliana Gualteros and I am a Biomedical Engineering student in my tenth semester at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic journey, mathematics has been a fundamental part of my training, helping me develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. I have experience as a university tutor, where I supported students in understanding complex topics and building confidence in their abilities. This experience taught me that every student learns differently, and that patience, clarity, and encouragement are key to effective learning. As a tutor, my goal is not only to help students solve math problems, but also to help them truly understand the concepts behind them. I believe that with the right guidance, practice, and support, any student can improve their skills and gain confidence in mathematics. I work with primary and secondary students and adapt my teaching methods to each student’s pace and learning style. I enjoy creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically. I am currently a tenth-semester Biomedical Engineering student at Universidad Militar Nueva Granada. Throughout my academic training, I have developed a strong foundation in mathematics, including algebra, calculus, statistics, and applied mathematical reasoning, which are essential tools in engineering and scientific analysis. During my studies, I also worked as a university tutor, supporting other students in understanding complex topics and strengthening their problem-solving skills. This experience allowed me to develop clear communication, patience, and the ability to explain difficult concepts in a structured and accessible way. In addition to my academic work, I have been actively involved in research activities. I have received two Meritorious Mention awards at research seedbed meetings—one at the national level and another at the international level—recognizing the quality and impact of my research. I was also a speaker at the VI International Seminar on Autism, where I presented work related to biomedical engineering and neuroscience. I have also completed training in Advanced Excel and Power BI, which has strengthened my data analysis and visualization skills, allowing me to work effectively with numerical information and present complex data in a clear and organized way. My educational background has helped me approach mathematics not only from a theoretical perspective but also from a practical one, allowing me to show students how mathematical concepts can be applied to real-life situations.

Hola! Soy Izabela, tengo 22 años, soy rumana y vivo en España. Trabajé 3 años como tripulante de cabina, así que estoy acostumbrada a hablar varios idiomas y a comunicarme con gente de todo el mundo. Hace poco también saqué mi licencia de piloto privado, y eso me enseñó mucho sobre disciplina y constancia. Hablo español y rumano como lenguas maternas, y inglés a nivel avanzado. En mis clases me gusta ayudarte a mejorar tu nivel, prepararte para exámenes o entrevistas, y ganar confianza al hablar. Siempre intento que las clases sean prácticas, divertidas y adaptadas a lo que tú necesitas. Si quieres aprender idiomas de manera sencilla y a tu ritmo, ¡me encantaría ayudarte! Me formé en bachillerato científico, pero siempre me apasionaron los idiomas. Por eso me saqué el C1 de inglés y luego trabajé en atención al cliente para mejorar mi inglés en la práctica. Más tarde conseguí el ICAO 5 y también la licencia de piloto privado, certificada en inglés, lo que me permitió consolidar mis habilidades lingüísticas en entornos profesionales.

Tengo 23 años de edad, llevo impartiendo clases de manera particular y personalizada al rededor de hace 2 años. Disfruto de escuchar música, realizar deporte, ver cine y series al igual que coleccionar cosas referentes a estas ultimas. Disfruto de igual manera el senderismo y voy a entrenar al gimnasio diario. Bachiller culminado y cursando 8vo semestre de Ingeniería Química en la Universidad del Atlántico de Barranquilla. He tomado cursos de manera remota sobre herramientas ofimáticas como Excel, MatLab, Python, etc. Aspiro especializarme en educación ya que es una vocación que realmente disfruto.

Mi nombre es Paloma. Soy filóloga inglesa y me encanta enseñar el idioma que tanto me ha dado, el inglés. Me considero responsable y trabajadora, a la par que extrovertida y a veces un poco bromista, cosas que pienso que son fundamentales en cualquier clase de inglés o de lo que sea para que sean divertidas y funcionales a la vez. Tengo la carrera de Estudios Ingleses con un año de Erasmus en Inglaterra. También poseo el título de Máster de Profesorado, el cual realicé en la UGR y el año pasado realicé también un Máster de las TIC en Educación, el cual pienso que es clave para dar clases online.
