Sobre mí Soy un apasionado de la enseñanza y de las matemáticas, con un enfoque práctico y dinámico para ayudar a los estudiantes a comprender los conceptos de manera clara y efectiva. Me motiva ver el progreso de mis alumnos y fomentar el pensamiento lógico en cada clase. Además, he realizado mentorías académicas en diversos cursos universitarios, ayudando a mejorar el rendimiento de los alumnos. Idiomas Hablo español de forma nativa y tengo un nivel intermedio de inglés. Experiencia con alumnos con Necesidades Educativas Especiales Tengo experiencia adaptando metodologías de enseñanza para distintos estilos de aprendizaje, brindando apoyo individualizado a estudiantes con dificultades en matemáticas. Soy Ingeniero de Sistemas y Computación graduado de la Universidad del Norte, donde he mantenido un desempeño académico destacado y formaré parte de la promoción de marzo de 2025. Durante mi formación, he desarrollado un sólido conocimiento en matemáticas, programación y análisis de datos, lo que me ha permitido apoyar a otros estudiantes como tutor y monitor académico. Además, cuento con un título técnico laboral en habilidades de programación con énfasis en aplicaciones web, obtenido en la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga en 2022. Hi there! I’m Lorraine Llagas 👩‍🏫 A Passionate Educator. I’ve spent several years in the teaching profession, with most of my career dedicated to teaching Philosophy at the tertiary level. For the past 8 years, I’ve been sharing my love for Social Science with senior high school students. Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about lifelong learning and personal growth. I enjoy seeking new knowledge and skills, diving into various genres of books, striving for self-improvement, staying active and healthy, and exploring new places and cultures. 🎓 My Educational Journey Graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics. Pursued graduate studies in Philosophy at Ateneo de Manila University. Hi, I’m Elaine Bereña, and I specialize in teaching Mathematics. My teaching journey began as part of my return of service for the scholarship I received during my college years. During that time, I taught various Math subjects, including General Mathematics, Pre-Calculus, Basic Calculus, and Statistics and Probability. In addition to my classroom experience, I also provided tutoring services for college students in higher-level mathematics courses, such as Calculus. Currently, I work as a freelance chat-based tutor, continuing to support students with their learning needs in Mathematics. The satisfaction I feel when a student grasps a challenging concept is incredibly rewarding. I take great pride in contributing to each student’s academic growth, and I view teaching as a reciprocal experience—helping students develop while constantly learning and evolving myself. As an educator, I am passionate about creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. My career spans various roles in engineering, project management, strategic planning, and teaching, equipping me with a versatile skill set and a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the field.
