I am a 25 year old electronic engineering advanced student, with a passion for both technology and education. Alongside my studies, I work as an English teacher for children, teenagers, and adults. I focus on developing all language skills: writing, speaking, reading, and listening. My teaching approach is dynamic and adaptable, ensuring that each student receives personalized support according to their needs and learning style. I strive to create an engaging and motivating environment that builds confidence. My experience has allowed me to understand different learning processes and help students achieve their language goals effectively. Soy una estudiante avanzada de ingeniería electrónica de 25 años con una gran pasión por la tecnología y la educación. Además de mis estudios, trabajo como profesora de inglés para niños, adolescentes y adultos. Me especializo en el desarrollo de todas las habilidades del idioma: escritura, oralidad, lectura y escucha. Mi enfoque de enseñanza es dinámico y adaptable, brindando apoyo personalizado según las necesidades y el estilo de aprendizaje de cada estudiante. I completed my secondary education at Escuela Normal Superior en Lenguas Vivas Juan Bautista Alberdi, specializing in natural sciences. I am an advanced Electronic Engineering student with a certification in competitive robotics. Additionally, I studied English from 6 to 18 years old and after pursued my certificate that allows me to teach and I hold an EF SET English certificate at the C2 level (71/100). My studies focus on telecommunications, automation, and circuit design, aiming to apply my knowledge in innovative projects. Currently, I work at English Studio, where I teach English to students of different ages and levels. Realicé mis estudios secundarios en la Escuela Normal Superior en Lenguas Vivas Juan Bautista Alberdi, con especialización en ciencias naturales. Soy estudiante avanzado de Ingeniería Electrónica con certificación en robótica competitiva. Además, estudié inglés desde los 6 hasta los 18 años y después estudié para mi certificado que hace posible el que pueda enseñar actualmente y cuento con un certificado de inglés EF SET nivel C2 (71/100). Mis estudios se centran en telecomunicaciones, automatización y diseño de circuitos, con el objetivo de aplicar mis conocimientos en proyectos innovadores. Actualmente, trabajo en English Studio, donde enseño inglés a estudiantes de diversas edades y niveles.

Hi, my full name is Botakoz, but most of the people just call me shortly Bota and to that name I am used more. I am from Kazakhstan originally, although I have lived so many years abroad. While being a student I participated in the program for students called “Camp Counselors USA”, and went to the USA to work as a camp counselor and a tutor for campers teaching them to sew and making stuff out of fabric. I have worked as an English teacher for around 10 years and 8 years of them at school with kids of different ages and it was definitely one of the best experience and other two years I have been tutoring English online, adults mainly. As an English teacher I never stop learning English myself as I am always curious about new vocabulary that I might not know while reading some fiction in English and of course teaching is my biggest passion for that reason too. Besides that, I love doing yoga, going skiing, trekking, hiking, watching movies, listening to music and dancing salsa. I have got 8 year old son and he speaks English pretty much as a native speaker, it is because I have been speaking English to him since he was born, reading books for him, watching cartoons together and just explaining things he didn't or doesn't understand in English and like a snowball effect he got some English speaking friends from England, studied in English at school first 2 grades, and I guess that having my son speaking very fluent English is another prove of the fact that teaching English is my passion. So, that is a short presentation of myself. I have got a bachelor degree in English Philology in 2006 in my hometown Karaganda at the Karaganda State University. After graduating the university I started working as an English teacher at the local school. After that I moved to the capital city of Kazakhstan as I joined one American organization to do some volunteering with university students. Mainly it was about organizing English clubs and Book clubs, where we were supposed to prepare some topics for discussions and participate and choose some books with students to read together and discuss them as well during the book clubs. Although I really loved working with this organization I still had to quit and go back to work to school, to a different one though. I continued my teaching career at the Presidential School, which is considered to be somehow special, and I have worked there for about 7 years. During the time of working at that school I have done the PDP (Professional Development Program) at Nazarbayev University. I would have been still teaching English at that school nowadays hadn't I moved to Norway due to circumstances in my life. Living in Norway for a few years without teaching I thought I was done with this career and had to do something different. Nevertheless it turned out that I went to Barcelona to do my CELTA Certificate at the International House of Barcelona. After having done CELTA Certificate I went back to teaching English online and I realize that I am really enjoying it even though the format of teaching online is very different to the one that is offline in the classroom. So, this is a short introduction about my teaching career.

Me llamo Alicia, tengo 21 años y me considero una persona muy constante y trabajadora y me gusta que eso se transmita. Siempre voy a tratar de ser lo más cercana posible y suelo cumplir todas aquellas metas que propongo. Soy fiel creyente de que todo esfuerzo tiene su recompensa, incluso cuando no se cumplen todas las expectativas. Soy estudiante de Arquitectura naval e ingeniería marítima en la Universidad de Cádiz. Siempre obtuve buenas calificaciones durante mi vida escolar y aun las conservo. Actualmente hablo inglés de manera fluida tras la obtención, además, de un título de nivel B2 por Cambridge y varios intercambios al extranjero. Respecto a experiencia, durante la etapa de bachillerato impartí clases a niños y niñas de primaria y actualmente llevo 2 años en GoStudent con bastantes buenos resultados.

He estudiado en Madrid, siempre me ha interesado el área de informática. Me gusta dar clases, aunque no es mi actividad laboral principal. Tengo experiencia como profesora tanto en clases presenciales como online. Mayoritariamente he dado formación para adultos. Estudios Medios . EGB (educación general básica) .
