I also teach other subjects including Biology, Physics, and Geography. My career also includes roles as a Game Mathematician and Slot Designer, where I developed mathematical models for slot games, as well as experience as a Software Engineer and Actuarial Assistant. My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring. I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education, Majoring in Mathematics (BSED-Math), and I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Teaching Mathematics. My journey in education is driven by my passion for mathematics and my desire to help students see the beauty in the subject. Teaching is something I’m deeply committed to, and I believe that with patience and the right approach, I can inspire students to develop a love for learning. In terms of character, I would describe myself as persistent and disciplined. Shortly after, I successfully passed the licensure examination for teachers in September 2016. Currently, I am furthering my education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Teaching Mathematics. Hola, soy Aina! Mi conexión con la naturaleza, especialmente el mar, inspira mi enseñanza. Disfruto explorando nuevos lugares y compartiendo esos momentos con amigos y amigas. En mi tiempo libre, me sumerjo en actividades como el fútbol, el patinaje y tocar el clarinete. Siempre estoy dispuesta a ayudar, soy amable y tengo mucha paciencia. Estudié el Bachillerato científico y posteriormente hice la carrera de Biología Ambiental en la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). Me mudé a Tenerife para estudiar el Máster en Biología Marina impartido por la Universidad de La Laguna (ULL). Tengo estudios musicales (clarinete) y de inglés (nivel B2).

Soy Químico profesional con formación avanzada como estudiante de último semestre de maestría en Ciencias-Química. Mi experiencia académica y profesional incluye una pasantía de investigación en Canadá, así como una sólida trayectoria en enseñanza universitaria y clases particulares en química, física, matemática y programación. Así mismo, cuento con experiencia profesional en la industria química como analista del laboratorio de control calidad, lo que ha fortalecido mi disciplina, entusiasmo y trabajo en equipo. Soy una persona responsable, honesta y adaptable, con habilidades pedagógicas para fomentar el pensamiento crítico y el aprendizaje autónomo, ofreciendo un acompañamiento académico riguroso e inspirador. Completé mi pregrado y estoy finalizando mi maestría en ciencias-química en la Universidad del Valle, una de las instituciones más destacadas en ciencias en Colombia, especializándome en química teórica, dinámica cuántica y simulaciones computacionales. Mi experiencia incluye una pasantía en Western University, Canadá, gracias al premio MITACS Globalink Research Award, donde trabajé en proyectos de simulación molecular. He sido asistente de enseñanza en química-física y dinámica molecular, adquiriendo experiencia en docencia tanto presencial como online. Además, manejo herramientas computacionales y lenguajes como Python, Mathematica y Fortran.
