Country Manager (Greece)

To build up the Greek market, we are looking for a super driven, experienced, bold & motivated country manager.

What you’ll do:

  • Business Developer: you are accountable for the overall development of the business operations in the region and report on the development of CAC: LTV and MRR growth to top management.
  • People Manager: you align all the departments (sales, tutor recruitment, customer success, marketing, HR and product development). You drive the business for Greece and bring our organisation to the next level. This will include building and scaling a high performing sales team and being a hands-on leader working to develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, action and achieve goals.
  • Team Builder: you attract top talents to support your mission and ensure that the GoStudent culture is maintained in your office.
  • Market Expert: you know your market inside-out: conducting market research and keeping an overview of any threats and opportunities that could impact your business, from the entrance of a new competitor to the adoption of a new law.
  • Growth Strategist: you come up with innovative ideas to accelerate growth, mitigate risk or tackle a problem, and ensure the execution of those by getting your hands dirty. This includes driving the organisation in hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.

Who you are:

  • You bring 6+ years of managerial, sales and marketing experience in a fast-growth company (SaaS or B2C preferred).
  • You have an excellent track record of over-achieving targets in your previous roles.
  • You are a data-driven personality with strong organizational skills.
  • You show leadership skills and charisma; “leading by example” represents your managerial style - you inspire and motivate people by being with them on the field and being extremely resilient.
  • You are entrepreneurial - you are hands-on and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are a native Greek speaker while possessing excellent English skills.
