İngiliz Dili ve Edebiyatı bölümünden onur öğrencisi olarak mezun oldum. Lisans boyunca sadece dil öğrenmekle kalmadım, dilin arkasındaki kültürü, edebiyatı ve düşünce yapısını da içselleştirdim. Bu süreçte aldığım pedagojik formasyon eğitimi sayesinde öğretmenlik hem bir meslek hem de gerçekten sevdiğim bir uğraş haline geldi. Lisans eğitimim sırasında Erasmus öğrenci değişim programıyla bir yıl Polonya'da yaşadım ve eğitim gördüm. Bu sayede Avrupa'da 8 ülkeyi gezme fırsatım oldu. O dönemde İngilizce, benim için sadece bir akademik konu değil, her gün farklı ülkelerden insanlarla kurduğum gerçek bir iletişim köprüsüydü. Farklı aksanlar, farklı bakış açıları, farklı öğrenme stilleri... Bu deneyim bana bir öğretmen olarak çok şey kattı. Online derslerde hedefim, öğrenciyi kalıpların içine sıkıştırmak değil; onu konuşturmak, düşündürmek ve dili gerçekten kullanmasını sağlamak. Her öğrencinin İngilizceyle kurduğu ilişki birbirinden farklı ve ben bu farkı bir engel değil, dersi şekillendiren bir rehber olarak görüyorum. Sabırlı, destekleyici ve pratik odaklı bir öğretim anlayışım var. Hata yapmaktan korkan öğrencilerin güven kazanması benim için en büyük başarı sayılır.
