Hi, I’m Kris, a dedicated Mathematics and English educator with over seven years of experience making complex concepts engaging and accessible. I aim to foster curiosity and confidence through interactive lessons and real-world applications. As a PhD student in Educational Management, I continuously explore innovative teaching strategies to enhance learning. I hold a Master’s in Mathematics Education and am pursuing a PhD in Educational Management. With 7+ years of experience teaching Math and English from junior high to college, I use interactive, real-world strategies to engage students. I also research education and innovative teaching methods.

Mein Name ist Carla Henke und ich freue mich, deinem Kind zu zeigen oder Dir zu zeigen, dass eine neue Sprache zu lernen richtig Spaß machen kann. Zusammen stellen wir ein Programm auf das optimal auf Deine Wünsche abgestimmt ist. Ich selbst finde es immer wieder sehr bereichernd etwas neues dazu zulernen und es bereitet mir immer wieder aufs neue große Freude. In Heidelberg habe ich Tourismus und Sprachen studiert und dann die letzten 16 Jahre in Frankreich, Spanien den USA und Italien gearbeitet sowohl im Tourismus wie auch als Lehrerin. Für mich ist Europa mehr als das Verwalten von Zahlen, Schulden, Eurobonds und das Verteilen von Fluechtlingen. Es ist das ernsthafte Interesse aneinander, der Wunsch, den anderen besser kennenzulernen, nicht nur der Austausch von Waren, sondern auch Menschen. "Reisen formen die Jugend" . Als Lehrerin versuche ich das zu vermitteln.

I teach Mathematics lessons and my most favorite is Calculus, inspiring and empowering students to reach their full potential while continuously exploring innovative teaching strategies for professional growth. My goal is to make complex concepts accessible and to foster a lifelong love for learning, ensuring students build confidence in their abilities to tackle challenges both inside and outside the classroom. I hold a B.S. in Mathematics, a Post-Baccalaureate in Teacher Education major in Mathematics, and am pursuing an Master's in Education major in Mathematics. I’ve taught General Mathematics and Calculus, fostering student growth through engaging lessons, coaching for competitions, and innovative strategies.
