I have a BA degree in History of Art and at the moment am studying for a second degree of BSc in Mathematics at the University of Groningen. I have tutored students privately for over 3 years in physics and mathematics. I have experience working in San Francisco, Children's Creativity Museum as an early childhood educator, where I acquired my methodology of learning through innovation, tailoring each students' approach to learning to their individual needs, and most importantly -- creating a positive atmosphere which helps to master any subject. I have experience teaching Edexcel, AQA, OCR A and B exam boards in both GCSE and A levels for maths and physics. Including statistics, mechanics, probability and my most favorite pure mathematics.
About me
The levels and subjects I teach: GCSE Physics and Mathematics A-level (IB) Physics and Mathematics (Further Maths) Higher levels: Linear Algebra, Calculus I have experience working with Edexcel, AQA, IB, OCR exam boards. Preparation for entrance exams. Preferred age group of stuents: GCSE, A-level, adult learners. I can fluently teach in English and Lithuanian languages. I am flexible, friendly, open-minded, and encouraging. Finding the most suiting learning style for you is my main goal in seeing your process of growth. I also know what it is like to struggle with maths. Growing up it was not one of those subjects that came to me naturally, it often required lots of work, many hours if being confused and making many mistakes. But that is why I love maths so much - it is a challenging and at the same time incredibly rewarding subject of study. I hope I can inspire my students to to see mathematics from my perspective and to not fear to make mistakes. I believe in acquiring knowledge through fun, innovative, efficient way and a smile! Through hard work and a bit of patience any highest goal can be reached. I hope I can be a part of your journey to success!
