About me
Hi there! Have a seat, get comfy and let me introduce myself. My name is Stefanie Martens and I live in the beautiful and historic city of Ghent, Belgium. I am warm, bubbly, kind yet strict when I have to be. I have three main passions in life, which are studying (Yes, I know I am a nerd), my dog (He is the best dog on the planet, no matter what anyone says) and teaching. I have been teaching (young) adults and since was 16 years old. Teaching is one of my greatest passions and it feels more like a true calling than a job. I am an extrovert with all of the lovely qualities that come with that, but I am also able to make more introverted people feel at ease. I am very open minded, patient and tolerant in my approach and all of this I combine with an optimistic and hopeful attitude. I have a lot of experience in helping students with learning difficulties realise their full potential in their own way by working with the learning disorder instead of against it. Plus, because of the love of learning I have a wide variety of interests.
