About me
GCSE: Maths, English, Latin, and Music A-Level (or IB): Maths and Music Exam board exp: Edexcel (Music and Maths), AQA (Maths and English), OCR (Latin) Experience with: KS1/KS2/KS3/GCSE/English schooling system/SAT exam for university entry/11+ Languages I can speak fluently: English Preferred student age group: KS2 up to A-Level About me: I am a DBS-certified university student studying Maths and Music. These subjects help me encourage creative and logical thinking in tutees. I also study Japanese and keep up with practicing my instruments in my free time. As well as this, I love playing board games with my friends (my favourite at the moment is Wingspan). I have tutored both online and in-person since 2018. I've found this rewarding and have tutored many students over the last year. I know that taking exams can be stressful for students. I make sure pupils can balance their mental wellbeing with learning outcomes. I will spend a small part of our first establishing a goal for our sessions as each student has different needs. This might be anything from exam techniques and confidence building to conceptual understanding.
