Hello! My name is Uchenna, and I am a medical graduate with a strong passion for education. I specialize in tutoring Primary Maths, GCSE English, Biology, and Religious Studies, as well as A-Level Biology and Psychology. With years of experience, I have developed effective teaching strategies that cater to a wide range of learning styles. My academic background has given me a deep appreciation for Biology, and I strive to equip students with the knowledge and critical thinking skills needed to tackle the subject’s complexities. I have a longstanding love for English Literature and Language and enjoy helping students develop strong analytical and communication skills. My enthusiasm for Psychology and Religious Studies stems from my fascination with human behavior, thoughts, and emotions—an interest I continue to explore as an aspiring psychiatrist and active member of mental health initiatives. Beyond academics, I am a Netball coach, helping young athletes refine their skills while fostering teamwork and confidence. I am also experienced in working with students with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, ensuring that my lessons are engaging, accessible, and tailored to individual needs. I take pride in building strong rapport with my students, boosting their confidence, and helping them achieve their academic goals. I look forward to supporting you on your learning journey! As a tutor, I aim to augment classroom learning. Teaching students in ways that are efficient and effective but enjoyable. It is important to identify individual learning styles and adapt my teaching for each student. I am a medical graduate and as such have developed the relevant skills for long term recall.

Hi, I am fourth year Civil Engineering undergraduate at the University of Liverpool. I studied Maths, Physics and Geography at A-Level and am passionate about teaching GCSE Maths and Physics. *I am currently taking on new male students for GCSE Maths, and GCSE + A-Level Physics for 1 lesson a week.* I have tutored a range of students throughout my two years at GoStudent ranging from Year 4 up to Year 13 in both Physics and Maths. My approach with most students is laid back with my understanding that a tutoring session must not feel the same as the school day. Most students are fed up of school at the end of the day, and continuing a similar environment after school in my experience does not lead to great engagement from students. For the students to learn they have to want to, and trying to make the tutoring session as laid back and enjoyable as possible I believe works really well. I studied A Level Physics, Maths and Geography and have gone on to study Civil Engineering at the University of Liverpool. The course mostly focusses on the practical application of mathematical and physical concepts which to me is much more interesting than learning the theory behind everything which can sometimes be a little boring.

My name is Nita Bose. I was born in England, where I completed all my education. I am qualified with a B.Ed Honours Degree and hence my preferred age group is the primary years. I am an experienced primary school teacher and English tutor. I have a patient and nurturing approach to teaching, which puts children at ease so they can develop confidence and excel in their learning. I am an expert in teaching handwriting, and you will see the results just after a few lessons! I teach in a fun and engaging way so my students thoroughly enjoy their lessons. Having a clear British accent, I can also teach English as a second language to adults who wish to improve their spoken English, as well as their grammar and writing. My own love of learning led me to also study law and pursue a career as a solicitor for some years. Thereafter, I returned to teaching and I have been tutoring children and adults for several years. It is so rewarding to make a difference to people's lives. I enjoy yoga, cooking and travelling around the world. It's fascinating to learn about different cultures. My favourite thing about tutoring with GoStudent is that it's a fantastic online platform and you can teach from anywhere in the world! My best study tip is, you can do anything that you put your mind to; have faith in yourself.

I have completed my Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of Birmingham. Currently, I am studying as a postgraduate in PGCE Secondary Mathematics to become a fully qualified maths teacher at the end of this academic year. Over the course of teaching maths, I have thoroughly enjoyed encouraging and helping students to engage with the subject. My students have completed their studies not just doing well in their GCSEs, but have explained that they actually find more enjoyment and understanding in the subject. Throughout our sessions, I will use various problem solving methods to encourage students to think and explore different ideas that we will learn. This way, pupils are a lot more prepared for the interesting and challenging problems that appear on their test papers! I look forward to teaching you and growing your confidence and success in mathematics! I have graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bsc Mathematics degree. Currently, I am studying for my PGCE in secondary maths in order to become a fully qualified maths teacher with QTS. As well as mathematics, I enjoy music and arts. I have sat the LAMDA and piano examinations up to grade 8 and bassoon exams up to grade 6.

To Administrators : my schedule is not open to trial lessons, only regular students. Any booking of a trial in my schedule would be considered as a mistake from the administrator. This message has been precised here by advice from the administration itself to avoid any mistake about this subject. To regular students : Hello ! I'm Valentin and I'm an enthusiastic french tutor. Willing to learn French and discover all its secrets ? Here I am ! I offer and adapt my lessons to be suitable for all ages. Whether it's simple conversation, grammar exercises, comprehension, writing, reading or pronunciation. I will work with you to improve your French the best way possible. I can also help with homework or GCSE preparation ! However, you will see that studying with me is not like school. I don't do notation system. What's important for me is to relax the student so that he wants to try to express without being afraid of making a mistake. And even if he does, I could take time to correct him and see together how to improve himself. Mistakes are part of the process of learning. About myself ! I'm mostly a travel-addict and I tell my stories by making cartoons. I've been teaching French to people for two years now and I really discovered the joy to share. I'm quite certain I will share my enthusiasm with you. What's primordial for me is to make people at ease and create a trustful relationship between teacher/student. Finally, sadly, even if my calendar shows any availabilities, these are only opened to students already engaged with Gostudent, also called regular students. I do not give any trial lesson. However, I definitely encourage any already subscribed student to ask me as a tutor. It would be my pleasure to meet you and see how to improve your french. I have : - a Master's degree in Film theory allowing me to teach as a Film studies teacher. - DAEFLE training to have the official FLE teacher title. (DAEFLE = Diplôme d'Aptitude à l'Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère = Diploma of aptitude to teach French like a foreign language).

I was really impressed with how the tutor focuses around my son and what his needs are. Alex is always helpful and patient and ensures the session is suited to my son's level. My son really looks forward to his lessons. Alex is very person-centred in his teaching and the way he communicates with parents too.

I took up GoStudent for my son as was thrown into learning Irish after we moved at the age of 11. He was so upset at not understanding what was going on in class, he had missed all the basics, and his class was so far ahead of him that he used to come home in tears. The setup was easy, the tutor is extremely nice and within 4 months I have seen an incredibly marked improvement, not only in his work but also his confidence in tackling it. He now can complete his homework on his own which is important as I don't speak any Gaelic myself. I think online tutoring is also extremely time efficient, not only for me but for the tutors who dont have to factor travel into their prices or time. GoStudent isnt just value for money.... it it in fact... priceless!
