Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I am an experienced mathematics tutor with a strong background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Bristol. Hi! I’m Alice, an enthusiastic and passionate English Literature tutor. I love exploring stories, characters and different interpretations of texts, and I particularly enjoy helping students become more confident in expressing their own ideas. I’m friendly, patient and approachable, and I believe lessons should be engaging, supportive and give students the confidence to develop their own opinions. My experience as a primary school teacher has taught me the importance of building positive relationships with students and understanding that everyone learns differently.
