Hi! My name is Marjana! I am a third-year BSc Finance student at Aston University and am currently on my placement year working as a Student Support Assistant at Aston University. Outside of my studies, I have been a dedicated tutor for GoStudent since October 2023, specialising in GCSE Maths. I have a strong passion when supporting students and this is demonstrated through every lesson. My aim is to make every lesson fun, interactive and to create a safe space for students to learn, develop and thrive in maths! I have successfully delivered over 800 one-to-one lessons via GoStudent, working with a diverse range of students from all different backgrounds, cultures, cities and learning abilities. More specifically, I have supported students with Autism, ADHD and Dyslexia and have found ways to support support students differently to meet their specific needs. I have tailored my communication style and lesson-approach when tutoring different types of students, demonstrating strong flexibility and adaptability through each lesson. My previous experience as a Teaching Assistant has provided exposure to a classroom environment. I have worked closely with students from year 7 all the way up to year 11. My role involved supporting and assisting small groups of students who were either under-developing or needed guidance and support with particular topics. I have also worked as a Peer Assisted Learning Leader at Aston University, which involved supporting first-year university students with core quantitative economic modules, including 'Mathematics for Economics' and 'Statistics for Economics'. My role involved delivering regular weekly support sessions where students could drop by and receive support with difficult math-based questions. Hello! :) My name is Cécile, I am twenty six years of age and I possess a Bachelors Degree in Drama. I work full-time throughout the week; therefore, I enjoy assisting students with their studies, in the evenings. :) I started tutoring during my A-Levels (2016-2018), which then progressed to University and amazingly, up until present.
