Hello! I am Princess and I have over 5 years experiencing tutoring. I have great knowledge of the 11+ entrance exam (that I myself have sat and passed) and techniques to improve prospects of passing. I have taught in the UK and also abroad in Abu Dhabi and embrace all students irrespective of ability! I have taught science to those that are not native English speakers, yet still helped them to achieve their full potential. I also have experience working with SEND students and have developed effective strategies to ensure success. I have a passion for science with a Masters degree from King's College London in Applied Neuroscience and secured a distinction. I am very knowledgeable of the subject and always look for fun and creative ways to teach! I have always been a high achiever, entering a grammar school after passing the 11+ exams. At GCSE I attained 3 A*s, 6 As and 2Bs and received an A at A level for Biology. I then went on to complete an undergraduate degree in biological sciences at the University of Leicester (receiving a 2:1), followed by a masters degree in Applied Neuroscience from King's College (receiving a distinction). I am someone who enjoys education and will provide your child with a strong work ethic and enjoyment during our lessons!

GCSE: At GCSE level, I can teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Exam board experience: I have teaching experience in AQA and Edexcel. Preferred student age group: My preferred age group is GCSE students, as I have the most experience teaching students at this level. About me: I am very passionate about science and love to share my passion by tutoring, writing articles for my university science magazine, and being part of many scientific societies. Outside of academia, I love cooking, rock climbing, and horse riding. GCSEs: I completed 9 GCSEs overall, receiving a 9 in Biology, a 9 in Chemistry, a 9 in Physics, and an 8 in Maths. Beyond the STEM subjects, I received a 9 in Theology, an 8 in Drama, an 8 in Spanish, a 7 in English Literature, and a 6 in English Language. A-Levels: In my A-Levels, I received an A* in Biology, an A* in Psychology, and an A in Chemistry. During this time, I also completed a Spanish Diploma at a B1 level. In Year 13, I was selected to be the Chemistry Prefect due to being one of the top Chemistry students in my year group. Undergraduate degree: I am currently a 2nd year Biochemistry student at King's College London and anticipated to receive First after my performance in my 1st year exams and coursework. During this time, I was a PAL leader. This role encompassed leading workshops on exam techniques, study skills, and challenging topics within a Biochemistry degree. Tutoring experience: I have been tutoring for three years, including volunteer tutoring for students who have been unable to attend school. I focus on developing personalised and engaging lessons. It is important to me to help students understand the topics I cover and apply what they have learned in the context of exam questions, thereby enhancing their confidence in exams. The students I am experienced in tutoring are GCSE and A-Level students. I also mentored and assisted students during my Chemistry Prefect and PAL leader tenure, which further enhanced my teaching abilities.

My name is Evie and I am from the United Kingdom. I grew up on a family farm in South Devon and at the age of 16 I studied the International Baccalaureate before attending university. At 19, I attended the University of Bristol where I achieved a BSc in Geology because I have a passion for the environmental sciences. Since then, I have pursued an MSc in Hydrogeology from the University of Birmingham, completed a Ski season in the french alps and I lived abroad in Taiwan teaching science for 1 year.

Hello! Dia dhuit! Hola! Is mise Anysia. My name is Anysia and I am from the wild west of Ireland, a place called Galway. My mother tongue is Irish and also speak English, some French and Spanish. I have a big family of 6 and lots of animals. I have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys and geese. I play sport in my spare time and am a part of a soccer team, a gaelic football team and a camogie team. I also have a passion for art, I love to paint and draw. I'm a positive and happy person with a passion to share my knowledge. For years I taught Irish in an Irish College in Galway, you may have heard of it - Colaiste Lurgan. We have become very popular over the years by translating, creating and preforming popular english songs (but making them much better) and recording them in Irish. Take a look on YouTube - TG Lurgan - you might be able to spot me in a few videos! I was an Irish teacher by day and a kayaking instructor by evening. My house was a 'bean an ti' house which means every three weeks during the summer months, we had 14-16 new students living with us. Everyone attended the college and had fun all the while learning and practicing our native language.
