Henry D.
Hi there! My name is Henry and I'm a recent maths graduate from the University of Bath. I have a great love for my subject and am passionate about sharing this enjoyment with others. Having worked as a professional tutor for a while, I have seen a great improvement in my students' confidence levels, especially when tackling new problems they are unsure about. Together, we can turn tricky problems into rewarding successes! I obtained my BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bath. During this time I took a "Communicating Maths" module, the sole focus of which was presenting maths through different mediums and sparking curiosity in the subject. Before this I took my three A Levels in Maths, Further Maths and Computer Science (A* A* A*) at Ashcroft Technology Academy in Wandsworth, London. The school ran sessions where I would tutor KS3 students studying for their GCSEs.

Hello! My name is Eisha, and I am an undergraduate student in medicine at the University of Manchester. For the past three years, I have been providing Maths and 11+ tutoring. I attended a grammar school myself and studied Maths at both GCSE and A level, so I understand the demands of the subject and how to explain it clearly. I tailor each session to suit the student’s learning style, helping them build confidence, master key skills, and approach problems with ease. Whether your child is preparing for the 11+ or looking to strengthen their maths foundation, I’m here to support their progress every step of the way. Primary School: English and Maths, 11+ GCSE: Maths Exam Board Experience: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, UCAT, 11+ Languages: English, Punjabi (basic level) Preferred student age group: Primary, GCSE GCSE and A Level Maths: A* I am familiar with the 11+ entrance exam as I sat it myself and studied in a Grammar School.

I am currently a second year physics student at the University of Manchester. At A Level I achieved 3 A*s in Physics, Mathematics, and History, and I also achieved a grade 9 in Physics at GCSE level. My sessions are tailored towards GCSE and A Level Physics students, and are aimed at improving exam performance while also improving the student's understanding of the subject beyond simply memorising equations. I understand that every student's goals are different, and my lessons reflect this - if one method of teaching is not proving effective for a student I am able to adapt my lessons to be structured in a way that resonates with them specifically. My lessons are applicable to every exam board, but I have the most experience with the AQA specification at GCSE level, and the OCR specification at A Level. At A Level, I attained 3 A*s in Physics, Mathematics, and History. At GCSE I achieved a grade 9 in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, and English Language. I achieved a grade 8 in Chemistry, Biology, English Literature, and History, and a grade 6 in Spanish. Additionally, I accomplished the highest total score in my sixth form for A Level Physics.
