My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.

Hello, My name is Varun. I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield. I'm currently studying my masters in Space Science and Engineering at UCL. I was previously a tutor for 2 years for children in years 8, 9 and 10 in maths and physics when I was in sixth form. I'm an avid reader and enjoy creative writing, photography and filmmaking in my free time. I completed my A levels in 2022 in mathematics, further mathematics, physics and design technology. I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield and am currently pursuing a masters in Space Science and Engineering: Space Technology at UCL

I’m 20 years old and currently studying Aeronautical Engineering. My goal is to become an aircraft engineer for large scale commercial aviation in aircraft’s such as the 747. My hobbies include playing lots of rugby at home and for university, hiking to keep healthy, and cooking. I’m currently studying MEng Aeronautical Engineering at Durham University where I’m on track for a First-Class. I come from a mathematical background, taking Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A-level where I achieved AAB. I am currently participating in a 14 week internship at Rosa Engineering Ltd, where I am travelling the UK across various power stations to help maintain and service areas to keep them operational. My recent activity including fitting a new transformer into Langage Power Station in Plymouth. After completing the masters degree I aspire to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

Hi, I’m Caleb Jackson, a passionate and committed math teacher who enjoys guiding students through the fascinating world of mathematics. I aim to make math lessons engaging and meaningful by using interactive methods, practical real-life examples, and thoughtful problem-solving activities that help students grow in confidence and curiosity. I believe that when students feel comfortable and motivated, learning becomes both effective and enjoyable. In my free time, I enjoy playing chess, which helps sharpen my thinking skills and keeps my mind active and creative. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Mindanao State University, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical concepts, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Applied Physics at the University of San Carlos in Cebu, which further strengthens my ability to connect mathematical theories with practical and real-world applications. My academic training allows me to design clear, engaging lessons, adapt to different learning styles, and support students in building confidence and achieving their academic goals.
