I’m Enola - I’m a second year student at the University of Nottingham studying Economics but I’m originally from Folkestone, Kent! I have a strong background in maths and I’ve helped students at GCSE and A-Level feel more confident by focusing on understanding, rather than memorising. I love to read, do yoga and play tennis outside of my studies :) At the Folkestone School for Girls, I achieved 9999988888 at GCSE and took A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, History and French with an A in Maths. Currently, I’m studying BSc Economics at the University of Nottingham and am on track for a first. I’ve chosen to specialise in Econometrics modules, which is the maths/ statistics side of Economics. I have around 2 years of experience in tutoring. I tutored two GCSE students weekly for around a year in Maths and Science. I also did tutoring every week within school, running drop in sessions at lunchtime for year 7 - year 11 students.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in Mathematics, in 2013 and later completed a Master of Education in Mathematics in 2018. With a decade of teaching experience, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to reach their full academic potential. I utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials, including online resources, to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure that each student has the tools they need to succeed. My approach focuses on guiding students toward their educational goals, whether transitioning to postsecondary education, pursuing vocational paths, or achieving personal growth. I continuously assess and document both the academic and social progress of my students, maintaining thorough records and analyzing data to inform my teaching strategies. I am a Maths teacher with 4 years of experience. I studied Mathematics at the University of Reading, and earned my PGCE there too. I have worked with 3 GCSE classes to achieve their required grades in Mathematics and Numeracy. I am also able to teach A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, and have worked with one AS level class on their applied work in these areas. I studied BSc Mathematics at the University of Reading and achieved a 2:1 in 2021. I then went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary Education at the same university. I have completed a module at The Open University for my Masters in Education and will be completing the final module in the academic year 2026/27.
