Hello! I'm Ali. I'm in my third year at the University of Edinburgh, studying English Literature. Having achieved almost 100% in my A level and GCSE English Lit/Lang courses, my goal as a tutor is not only to improve your grades, but provide you with the techniques that beat the system. English is more formulaic than you think, and I can't wait to show you how to ace it all. I'm passionate about drama, cooking and poetry and my favourite book is the Great Gatsby! Exam Board: AQA - Edexcel - Irish Languages: English - French Hobbies: Football- Gaming -Basketball - fitness/bodybuilding I'm an expert in Math, physics and also I found my lessons very fun and exciting. Also, I make sure all my students understand very well and don't get bored in our sessions. In addition, I'm very energetic and patient. I lean on these qualities heavily while I’m tutoring. I think my energy helps keep students engaged and motivated with the material, and my patience allows them to move at their own learning pace comfortably. Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.
