I'm Ahsan, a first-year Accounting and Finance student at Queen Mary University of London. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Maths and Economics and I genuinely love helping students get to grips with topics that feel confusing at first. My name is Gemma and I am an English and Drama Graduate from Exeter University, 2:1 with a Creative Writing Dissertation. I have aspirations in teaching at Secondary School level and classroom and mentoring experience. I have worked for a year post graduation as a Sabbatical Officer in the Students Union. In my free time I enjoy reading, writing poetry and performing. I achieved 1x 7, 2x 8, 2x A* and 7x 9 in my GCSE's and 3x A at A level in English, Drama and Philosophy and Ethics. I took a gap year working, and volunteered in my school supporting extracurricular drama, and I have since returned 3x with paid opportunities, 2x teaching in music and drama. I went to Exeter University and studied English and Drama acheiving a 2:1 and departmental commendation for contributing to the life of the department. During my time at University I took on leadership and mentoring roles in extracurricular and this led me to my current position as a Sabbatical Officer advocating for Students in the University.

I hold a strong academic and professional background in Spanish language, culture, and education. I graduated in Hispanic Studies and later completed an MA at the University of Glasgow, where I developed advanced knowledge of Spanish and Latin American literature, history, politics, and cultural studies. My academic training gave me a deep appreciation of the richness and diversity of the Spanish-speaking world, from Golden Age literature to contemporary Latin American society. I am also a published poet. I have experience of teaching English Language and Literature. Alongside my academic qualifications, I also completed a PGCE and obtained Qualified Teacher Status through the St Mary's University. This provided me with strong pedagogical foundations in lesson planning, assessment, classroom management, and differentiated learning. I have experience teaching students of different ages and abilities and aim to create engaging lessons that build both confidence and linguistic competence. I have lived and travelled extensively in Spain and Latin America, experiences that significantly enriched my understanding of regional accents, idiomatic language, social customs, and cultural traditions. These experiences allow me to bring authenticity and real-world context into the classroom. My particular interests include Hispanic literature, contemporary Spanish and Latin American politics, cultural identity, film, and music. I am especially interested in helping students understand not only the mechanics of the language but also the cultural perspectives that shape communication across the Spanish-speaking world. I believe language learning should be intellectually stimulating, culturally immersive, and accessible to all learners. I attended Westminster School (10 O levels, 3 A levels), attained a 2:1 MA in Hispanic Studies at the university of Glasgow, completed my phd finance modules at university of Essex in 0212, received my QTS and PGCE from St Mary's university in 2024. I taught Spanish at Three Rivers Academy and GNSA in Hayes. My specialisations are Hispanic Culture, Literature and Art. I am an expert on world poetry and drama.

I am a 3rd year medical student with a passion for teaching, tutoring and helping students get the highest grades they possibly can. I have been teaching for over 6 years working with a wide background of students from 11+ and GCSE students to SEN students, helping them achieve top grades. I study Medicine at Aston university and was a former student at the Latymer Grammar School in Edmonton. In my GCSEs I got 9s in Maths, English lang and lit, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and I also got 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths for my A levels
