These experiences motivate me and inspire me to share with my students how fun and beautiful the Philippines is! I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education, specializing in Technology and Livelihood Education, from Bulacan State University. With my experience as a high school teacher and ESL instructor, I have honed my ability to create dynamic lessons, maintain an organized classroom, and tailor my teaching methods to different learning styles—ensuring that every student feels supported and inspired to learn.

Siempre me agradó enseñar y tuve facilidad para ello. Lo he hecho a lo largo de toda mi trayectoria académica, tanto con pares alumnos como con compañeros de cursos menores. Soy Scout y me he encargado de los pequeños del grupo, jugando con ellos, enseñandoles y cuidandolos. Soy una persona racional, objetiva, paciente, tolerante, ecuanime y mesurada. Asistí a una secundaria técnica y me recibí como maestro mayor de obras (técnico en construcciones). Me encuentro en la universidad estudiando ingeniería civil e ingeniería en agrimensura. Tengo una diplomatura universitaria en energías renovables y tecnologías para el desarrollo sustentable.

Hi, my full name is Botakoz, but most of the people just call me shortly Bota and to that name I am used more. I am from Kazakhstan originally, although I have lived so many years abroad. While being a student I participated in the program for students called “Camp Counselors USA”, and went to the USA to work as a camp counselor and a tutor for campers teaching them to sew and making stuff out of fabric. I have worked as an English teacher for around 10 years and 8 years of them at school with kids of different ages and it was definitely one of the best experience and other two years I have been tutoring English online, adults mainly. As an English teacher I never stop learning English myself as I am always curious about new vocabulary that I might not know while reading some fiction in English and of course teaching is my biggest passion for that reason too. Besides that, I love doing yoga, going skiing, trekking, hiking, watching movies, listening to music and dancing salsa. I have got 8 year old son and he speaks English pretty much as a native speaker, it is because I have been speaking English to him since he was born, reading books for him, watching cartoons together and just explaining things he didn't or doesn't understand in English and like a snowball effect he got some English speaking friends from England, studied in English at school first 2 grades, and I guess that having my son speaking very fluent English is another prove of the fact that teaching English is my passion. So, that is a short presentation of myself. I have got a bachelor degree in English Philology in 2006 in my hometown Karaganda at the Karaganda State University. After graduating the university I started working as an English teacher at the local school. After that I moved to the capital city of Kazakhstan as I joined one American organization to do some volunteering with university students. Mainly it was about organizing English clubs and Book clubs, where we were supposed to prepare some topics for discussions and participate and choose some books with students to read together and discuss them as well during the book clubs. Although I really loved working with this organization I still had to quit and go back to work to school, to a different one though. I continued my teaching career at the Presidential School, which is considered to be somehow special, and I have worked there for about 7 years. During the time of working at that school I have done the PDP (Professional Development Program) at Nazarbayev University. I would have been still teaching English at that school nowadays hadn't I moved to Norway due to circumstances in my life. Living in Norway for a few years without teaching I thought I was done with this career and had to do something different. Nevertheless it turned out that I went to Barcelona to do my CELTA Certificate at the International House of Barcelona. After having done CELTA Certificate I went back to teaching English online and I realize that I am really enjoying it even though the format of teaching online is very different to the one that is offline in the classroom. So, this is a short introduction about my teaching career.

Con más de tres años de experiencia enseñando a niños de primero a sexto grado, tengo un enfoque objetivo y motivador que hace que la educación sea emocionante para mis estudiantes. Me encanta ver cómo progresan y cómo se divierten mientras aprenden. Doy clase de repaso a niños desde 1º de primaria hasta 1º de ESO. Al igual que ofrezco clases personalizadas de Inglés a cualquier edad y nivel. Mi educación siempre fue basada con el curriculum IB (Programa Internacional). Estudié primaria y secundaria (ESO) en el Colegio Buena Tierra en Toluca, México. Hice el Bachillerato Internacional, en la Escola Internacional del Camp (Socrates Educa) Salou, Tarragona, España. Actualmente, estoy estudiando magisterio en educación primaria en la Universidad NHL Stenden, ubicada en Meppel, Holanda. Tengo el Certificado de C1 en Inglés (Advanced) y C2 en Español (Nativo). Tengo más de 3 años de experiencia como profesora de primaria y de inglés a todas las edades y niveles, en diversos países como España, Suiza, Bélgica y Holanda.
