İlkokul sıralarından beri matematik öğretmeni olmak isteyen ve matematiği çok seven bir öğretmenim. Matematikten korkmama rağmen bir öğretmenim sayesinde bunu aştım ve şu an bulunduğum yerdeyim. O öğretmenim gibi bir öğretmen olmak hedeflerimden biri. Lisede bu sevdamdan vazgeçmedim ve ODTÜ ilköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği'ni kazandım. Lisans hayatım boyunca ilkokul, ortaokul ve lise öğrencilerine matematik özel dersleri verdim. Hem yüz yüze hem de çevrim içi ortamda dersleri vermeye devam ediyorum. Ayrıca üstün yetenekli öğrencilerin eğitim aldığı özel bir kurumda proje ekibinde yer aldım, içerikleri oluşturdum ve matematik öğretmeni olarak çalıştım. 2018 yılında lisanstan mezun olduktan sonra yine ODTÜ'de matematik eğitiminde yüksek lisansa başladım. Tüm bunların yanında zeka oyunlarına karşı ilgimi Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'ndan zeka oyunları eğitimi alarak taçlandırdım. 5 sene boyunca Türkiye Zeka Vakfı'nda Zeka Oyunları Eğitmeni olarak çalıştım. Yine aynı kurumda çocuklara atölye yapan ekipte eğitmen olarak görev yapmaktayım. Toplamda 12 yıldır da matematik özel derslerini severek vermekteyim. Müziğe ve sanata ilgiliyim. Darbuka çalmayı ve karakalem çalışması yapmayı çok seviyorum. Öğrencilerimle direk monoton bir ders işleyişi dışında daha çok eğlenerek ders işlemeyi seviyor ve buna özen gösteriyorum. Benim için bir derste verim öğrencimin o derste kendisini rahat hissetmesi ile doğru orantılıdır. Bununla beraber öğrencimin derste öğrendiklerini unutma olasılığının düşmesi için de o konunun günlük hayattaki yeri ve günlük hayatla bağlantısının üstünde durmaya olabildiğince özen gösteriyorum. Çünkü derste öğrendiği konuyu günlük hayatta görerek ve uygulayarak daha da pekiştiren öğrenci bir daha o konuyu kolay kolay unutmuyor. Ki son zamanlarda oldukça popüler olan ama aslında çok da yeni olmayana "yeni nesil sorular" ın temelinde de günlük hayat problemlerine bakış oldukça ön planda tutuluyor. Yüksek lisansımı başarı ile tamamladıktan sonra Amerika'da üstün yetenek ve yaratıcılık eğitimi üzerine doktoraya başladım. Şu anda matematiksel yaratıcılık üzerine çalışıyorum. Bu minvalde GoStudent sayesinde pek çok öğrenciye ulaşabileceğime inanıyor ve onlara elimden geldiğince matematiği sevdirmeye çalışacağımı düşünüyorum. 2013-2018 yılları arasında ODTÜ Matematik Öğretmenliği'nde okudum ve onur öğrencisi olarak mezun oldum. Ara vermeden 2018 yılında ODTÜ Matematik Eğitimi'nde yüksek lisansıma başladım. Lisans hayatımda pek çok kurumda ve toplulukta gönüllü öğretmenlik yaptım. Yüksek lisansımı başarılı ile tamamladıktan sonra 2022 senesinde ise üstün yetenek ve yaratıcık bölümünde doktora eğitimime başladım. İlkokul 3'ten lise 1 'e kadar onlarca öğrenciye 2013'ten beri hem online hem de yüz yüze olarak matematikten özel ders vermekteyim. Özel ilgi alanlarım arasında üstün yetenekli çocukların problem çözme becerileri ve zeka oyunları yer alıyor. Üstün yetenekli öğrencilerle beraber projeler yaptım ve onlarla çalıştım. Zeka oyunları eğitmenliği de yaptığım için hem öğretmenlere hem öğrencilere Türkiye Zeka Vakfı'nda eğitimler verdim. "Matematiği bir türlü sevemiyorum!", "Neden matematik yapmak zorundayım ki!", "Matematiği nerede kullanacağım?" Bunlar derse başlamadan önce en çok duyduğumuz sözler! Buradan da fark ettiğim üzere matematiğin büyüleyici dünyasını gerçekten göremiyoruz. Günlük hayatta nerede karşımıza çıktığını, matematiği günlük hayatta nerede kullanabileceğimizi ve aslında hayatın her alanında karşımıza çıktığını görmek hem matematiği sevmede hem de soruları çözmede oldukça önemli. Ben hem ODTÜ'den aldığım eğitimde hem de kendi içimde matematiği sayılar ve formüllerin ötesinde hayatta en basitten en karmaşık noktaya kadar kullanabileceğim bir araç olarak öğrendim ve öğrencilerime de bunu öğretiyorum. Bu zamana kadar ders verdiğim öğrencilerimle hep uzun soluklu devam ettik ve çok güzel okullara gittiler. Bu platformda da buluşacağım öğrencilerime, matematiğin gerçek "eğlenceli ve öğretici" dünyasını görmede ve sevmede yardımcı olacağıma gönülden inanıyorum.
