Teaching individuals ,both young and old, the English language professionally has been my vocation for many years.In all these years I have devoted my life to this profession by working hard in a responsible manner as well as sharing a closeness and understanding of my students and the challenges they may encounter.Patience is also a quality I feel I possess which,in my opinion, is the key to a collaborative and productive teacher-student relationship.I keep informed about the latest developments in my field and apply innovative teaching approaches which I feel will enhance my student's knowledge and use of the language.

Hello! My name is Papouli Dimitra Matina and I teach English! I have studied English Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and I have six years of teaching experience. Μy students are of all ages, and they choose me because I create an individual learning program for each one, based on their personality and goals. We use technology in our courses in various ways, adapting our online room accordingly. Έχω σπουδάσει Αγγλική Γλώσσα και Φιλολογία στο Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης και διδάσκω αγγλικά εδώ και έξι χρόνια. Από μικρή μου άρεσαν οι ξένες γλώσσες κι αποφάσισα να εστιάσω στα αγγλικά, καθώς είναι μία γλώσσα που μπορεί να σε συνδέσει με ολόκληρο τον κόσμο. Συμμετέχω ενεργά σε επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια για τη διδασκαλία της αγγλικής γλώσσας τόσο σε ενηλίκους όσο και σε παιδιά, ώστε να παραμένω ενημερωμένη και να κάνω το μάθημά μου όσο γίνεται πιο σύγχρονο, ξεκούραστο κι ενδιαφέρον.

Διδάσκω φυσική και μαθηματικά, πρωτίστως. Χημεία δευτερευόντως. Αγαπώ τα ταξίδια με κάθε είδους μέσο καθώς και τη θάλασσα. Μου αρέσει πολύ η μουσική, τόσο να ακούω όσο και να παίζω. Έχω ασχοληθεί με κιθάρα και φωνητικά. Επίσης έχω ασχοληθεί με το θέατρο. Κλείνοντας, έχω εμπειρία στις ξένες γλώσσες, έχοντας εγγύτερη επαφή με τα Ισπανικά.

I studied English and Drama (BA) Graduate with First Class Honours, Queen Mary University of London and I have been teaching since my graduation in 2017. I have been teaching English Literature across all levels, English, and Academic Writing. Excited to tutor all levels, to support with exam preparation. I have been working as an English Literature A-Level Teacher at a College in Athens, Greece and for the past three years I have been teaching and tutoring English as a Second Language. I have a passion for Drama, as I am working as a theatre practitioner.
