Hi, welcome to my profile! My name is Sarah and I'm passionate about helping students learn. I currently work as a primary school teacher, so I have experience using different tools, such as by incorporating visuals and movement activities to help children learn for all subjects. I believe that every child can achieve and that there is always a way to help children understand. For subjects that I tutor in: I teach maths at primary level and Psychology at secondary level. As a qualified primary school teacher, I also teach all subjects at primary level. I also have primary SEND experience for children with autism. Outside teaching and tutoring, I love to cook and bake! I also am a big fan of boardgames (not just monopoly!). I am a very creative person and love to sing, act and play the piano. I enjoy travelling when I'm able to and love to see the world. I definitely like to geek out on my favourite tv shows and love a good murder mystery. I hope you choose me as your tutor as I would love to help you on your journey :) I have a Primary PGCE and QTS, Early Years Teacher Status and a BSc Psychology Degree. This means I can teach children up to aged 11 in all subjects! I also have a TEFL and taught English in Cambodia to children aged 3-8 for a few months. I have a Pediatric First Aid Qualification. I am also grade 5 in singing, grade 8 in piano and grade 2 in drums. Also self-taught myself the recorder :)

Hi! I'm Eve. Levels & Subjects I teach: The subjects I can tutor are English Literature and English Language at a lower and GSCE level, and also History at lower, GSCE, and A-Level. Exam Board experience: Although I have personally sat my exams with the AQA exam board (meaning I have the most experience with their particular content), I am adaptable and can tutor for any exam board necessary! Languages: I am fluent in English. SEND (Special Education Needs and Disability) experience: I have yet to gain experience with SEND. Preferred Student Age group: My preferred student ages are GSCE and A-Level, but I am completely happy and able to provide tutoring for all ages! About me: I am a third year History and Philosophy student, who has always loved English, history, and the arts. My degree has made it possible for me to learn more in-depth about my favourite areas of history - particularly the cold war and feminist history - and to continue my passion for English by taking minor classes in Classics. In my GSCES, I received a 7 in both English Lit and English Language, and an 8 in History. At A-Level, I received an A in History. Some of my favourite past-times are reading (both novels and poetry), listening to music, and designing and sewing clothes. My current favourite read is The Odyssey by Homer, and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde - both of which I highly recommend. I am excited to gain more experience in tutoring the subjects I love, and I look forward to hopefully working with some of you!

Hi there. James here, from South Africa. I taught in London in Walthamstow for my probationary year in 1991, and then in Johannesburg and Kwazulu-Natal in South Africa for a total of 21 years. I have taught Cambridge A Level History and England and South Africa's English and History curricula. I am also a published researcher, poet, and author. I enjoy cross-country running. I like NETFLIX mystery series. I regularly get out wilderness walking and cross country swimming. Since February 2025, I tutor English and Religious Studies for GoStudent. I battled with learning difficulties at school. However, I did very well after school, because I knew that English opens doors. So, I set goals. Then I achieved a B.A (1985) and a B. Ed (1996) degree, at Wits University in Johannesburg. I did a Masters Degree in Theology (Regent College, Vancouver, B.C., 2001) and a PhD in Church History (University of KwaZulu-Natal, 2016). I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. So I'm still learning as I tutor GCSE students, A Level students, and juniors, to reach their highest goals.

I really like the change in tutor, she brings out the best in my daughter! I haven’t been impressed with some aspects of go students customer service, especially prior to daisy we had a change in tutor with little or no assistance from go student; we weren’t consulted on the new tutor and that particular tutor ended up not being the right fit at all for my daughter, she was very sad. We also know the customer service manager Daniel has left but I haven’t been advised of his replacement. With that said the lady who arranged for daisy to be placed as my daughter’s tutor was absolutely amazing, calm, patient and really committed to finding a suitable replacement for daisy.
