Prior to starting university, I worked for two years as a laboratory intern in one of the world-leading virology laboratories at the University of St Andrews, focussing on novel vaccines and antiviral treatments. I am bilingual (English and Russian), and also fluent in Japanese. I am a qualified Japanese-English translator and have worked as an online translator for many years. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis and had been a first-team captain of both the UCL medical women's team and the London inter-university teams. Hello! My name is Abdul Rehman Mohsin. I am an undergraduate student of mechanical engineering. The subjects I teach are Alevel and GCSE Maths and Physics, GCSE chemistry and Alevel Philosophy and theology(or simply philosophy). I have achieved A*s in Alevel Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics, so I can help you achieve the same. I can also help you out with Alevel Further Mathematics. Having been a part of the national physics team for my country for the 2020 IPHO, my physics is also quite strong. Although I did not study philosophy in my Alevel, I was always interested in the subject. Having read quite a few books, articles/papers and having watched so many debates, I have a good grasp on the basics and I continue to delve deeper. Hi there, my name is George and I developed a real passion for maths a science during my gcse years having not always been the biggest fan previously to this period and have found great fulfilment in developing my skills ever since. I now study physics at the university of Bristol and would not have got here if it wasn’t for some of my excellent teaching mentors so anything I can do to replicate this is an exciting opportunity for me. Having taken my exams so recently where I found some crafty shortcuts and developed easy strategies to assure me I could do well and guarantee me correct answers to certain questions that came up over and over again in previous years exams. All of which I really feel any student can implement to reduce at least some of the stress of these tricky years.
