Our Spanish Tutors
Hello there! Chilean girl living in Portugal. Teaching Spanish on GoStudent. It's not important how old are you, but the level of passion you have for learning this very useful language. I also understand that students do not want to be stuck on a live tutoring session, that's why I try to make my classes fun and simple, with a little bit of challenge in between. I've been teaching since I can possibly remember, and that's around 12 years now! It makes the perfect balance for my Business job.

What I teach: - Spanish (GCSE preparation) - Spanish as a second language for adults *Accredited DELE examiner (official Spanish as a second language test) *I speak English proficiently and Spanish as a native speaker. My strong points as a tutor: - Tailoring and framing content so that the learner can approach their goals more dynamically or in a way which is relatable to them. - Training the student to know how to learn more efficiently in order not to lose motivation. - Setting goals and milestones to track progress and see visible results. When I'm not teaching, researching, or improving my online business, you'll find me reading, walking, learning to play the guitar, playing a videogame, or secretly complaning about bad teaching.
Subjects I can teach: Lower Level: All subjects at a primary level, 11+ GSCE: Geography, Spanish International Baccalaureate: Geography Exam Board Experience: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, IB syllabus Languages: English- Native language & Spanish up to an IB higher level standard. Preferred student age group: Primary/ GCSE About me: I am a first year geography student at Durham university. At Sixth Form I took the IB where I studied Spanish, biology and geography at a higher level and maths, English and environmental systems and societies at a standard level. All together I achieved 39 IB points. Throughout my studies I have frequently taken part in mentoring schemes, helping me to, not only help other students, but to also further my knowledge in the given subject. After Sixth Form I took a gap year in the hope of travel however COVID prevented me from doing so, so instead I worked in retail whilst reading in preparation for university. I am half Spanish and love to travel; my favourite excursions being the frequent visits to Spain to see my grandparents. My other hobbies include dancing (from the age of 4), going to the gym, crotchet and just generally spending time with my friends and family.

I'm a journalist who is totally in love being a Spanish Teacher. For the past four years, I’ve held direct responsibility of tutoring large list of teenagers and adults and imparting the four language skills to them. As a Spanish Language Teacher, I have built a strong reputation in facilitating spanish language acquisition among my students.
I like to make my lessons understanding, yet fun, so it doesn't feel like my student is back in school, but rather in a relaxed learning environment where they are free to make mistakes so they can learn better. I have various hobbies and interests, including reading, going to the gym, and watching sports, so I believe I have a variety of things I can relate to my students on, in order to build and maintain a rapport with them.
