I'm Ejiro! I'm currently studying engineering at The University of Strathclyde. I grew up in Aberdeen. My hobbies include documentaries, nature walks, and martial arts. I am keen to teach maths, physics, and chemistry as I gained Advanced Highers (A-levels) in these subject areas.

My name is Kirti and I am learning support assistant in a primary school. I am passionate about teaching and have experience of tutoring children for about 5 years. My lessons are customised suiting the student's needs. I believe in consistency, hardwork and sincerity and that's how my students excel in their work. Regular feedback to and from parents is very much a part of my lessons.

I am currently a final year student studying medicine, with previous experience of being a teaching assistant in university. I have a keen interest in helping students achieve their highest potential, using interactive and online education to engage and improve their abilities in their desired subject.- I teach Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE level.

After university I worked at a secondary school on a graduate scheme with Step Into Teaching, working as a teaching assistant and running the school library. In this role I worked predominantly with KS3 students on a 1:1 and small-group basis, but I love working with KS4 students and building their knowledge in their subjects. In this role I have worked with SEN and ESL students. Shortly after this I went to Malaga, Spain to work as an au pair. While living with a Spanish family it was my repsonsiblity to teach English to two daughters, ages 11 and 14. I am currently completing my MA in Education at University College London, ahead of next September when I intend to complete my PGCE to be a secondary school English teacher. I also work in a secondary school supporting year 10 and 11 students with GCSE English Literature and English Language tuition. I'm passionate about building student's confidence in their subject alongside building their subject knowledge. Based on my own experience, I'm keen to help students become more confident in how they perform in exam conditions and maximise the application of their knowledge when under pressure. My favourite thing about wokring as a tutor is seeing students gradually become more confident in asking questions and the sense of achievement they feel when they have reached a certain target grade or a certificate or award in school.

I live in London! My favourite things to do are listening to music and travelling. I love sports- my favourite hobby is weightlifting and I have a brown-stripe belt in karate. My favourite subject in school was Spanish- I even took modules at university!

I grew up, and still live on a dairy farm and I should have gone to the University of Edinburgh to study Veterinary Medicine, however I injured my back. I have really enjoyed tutoring in the past few years and find it a really enjoyable profession. I have over a 1000 hours of experience and many different ways of tutoring a student, all depending on ability, personality and age.
