I am originally from Italy, but I moved to the UK when I was 16 and sat both my GCSEs and A Levels in London. In my GCSEs I achieved 8 A* and 4 A grades. These were the second-highest results in my cohort, despite the fact I had only been living in England for two years before sitting my exams. At sixth form, I taught myself French A Level in just one year and achieved an A grade, the highest grade in my class. I have always found learning languages an extremely rewarding, albeit sometimes frustrating process. Although languages open up doors to new ways of thinking and seeing the world around you, grasping the different aspects of a language, such as its grammar, can be demoralising. And that’s what I am here for - as a fellow language learner, I can empathise with the difficulties of this process and will do my best to make it as smooth and fun as possible. Hello! :) My name is Cécile, I am twenty-five years of age and I possess a Bachelors Degree in Drama. I work full-time throughout the week; therefore, I enjoy assisting students with their studies, in the evenings. :) I started tutoring during my A-Levels (2016-2018), which then progressed to University and amazingly, up until present. A section of my degree concentrated on education (to which, I received a First) which inevitably led me, to continue with private tuition. I have been established on the GoStudent platform, since January 2022. In January 2024, I received my 500th lesson certificate. Up until today, I have delivered over 900 lessons on this platform, alone. Collectively, I have over nine years worth of tutoring experience but on a continuous basis, I will be hitting my four year anniversary, in January 2026. I teach the following subjects: Drama, English, History and French. Drama and English are both taught, up until Degree level. History is taught at both, GCSE & A-Level standard.
