Hi, I'm Mona! A little about me; I tutor Primary and GCSE-level students in English. Right now, I'm more focused on GCSE students. I have in-depth knowledge in English literature from Shakespearean plays like Macbeth to War and Conflict Poems, and more. I'm fluent in English, write a lot, and I absolutely love creative writing so that comes in handy when guiding students through revision for the English Language Paper. I'm also familiar with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, and Eduqas. What I love most about my tutoring sessions is that from the onset, my students and I try to make learning not feel like a chore. We strive to not only achieve the educational goals we set out but we make it so that the main objective is to learn and understand, not just pass a test. I'm open-minded and firmly believe there is no such thing as a person who can't be taught. Each student is different from the next and all anyone really needs is the right kind of guidance. I am currently in University for my Bachelor's but I graduated from the equivalent of UK A-Levels with honours. My curriculum was English, Arts, and Humanities-centered so I had subjects such as Media and Information Literacy, Research Writing, Creative Fiction and Non-Fiction, Contemporary Art, etc. I used to write for a travel blog and was the assistant to the managerial editor of a newspaper company so I proofread, edited, and wrote articles a lot.

Hi, I’m Amaan—a 4th-year medical student at Keele with a passion for teaching. I specialise in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths at GCSE and A-Level. Hello there! Hope you are well. My name is Joshua Hailey and my pronouns are he/him. I have been an online tutor for over three years, and I hope this 'About Me' section gives you an insight into who I am and my teaching style. Before I go into more detail about who I am, I would urge you to read the testimonials, (at the bottom of this section), from some of my current parents whose children I am teaching! I am an English Literature BA (Hons) graduate who studied at the University of Portsmouth. In September 2024 I am undertaking a Masters in Modern and Contemporary Literature from the University of Leicester. With over three years tutoring experience, a strong work ethic and excellent time management skills, I have challenged and supported students across all educational stages, including primary school pupils right up to A Level students! I want your child to succeed and I truly believe they can do this! My lessons are varied, fun, but get the work done! Education is not 'one size fits all', and online tutoring is the perfect example of this. My sessions will see your child grow from strength to strength, as they learn new concepts and methods of success in their respective subject.
