My name is Montaha. I am a regular tutor who has taught over 300 lessons online with GoStudent for over four years! I am proud to say that I have extensive experience tutoring multiple GCSE students across the UK in various subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and English. My teaching approach is informal yet effective. I prefer to help students learn using a method that works best for them, whether by reviewing exam questions, explaining concepts with diagrams, or dissecting lesson material to make it much more straightforward. I believe understanding what the exam board is asking for and how the mark scheme works is critical to achieving high grades at GCSE level. During my tutoring sessions, I will always provide hacks to all my students on what will make them stand out to an examiner whilst making the lessons as enjoyable as possible. After each lesson, I provide detailed lesson notes for my students to keep as well in depth feedback delivered to parents to keep everybody updated. I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I moved to Ireland when I was 12 years old. I love Maths and English, but I decided to study Science in college. I love reading classic novels, writing funny stories, and watching Korean dramas. I enjoy travelling, cooking Asian foods and making my friends laugh. I look forward to helping more students! I wrote my Junior and Leaving Certificate in Ireland. For my Leaving Certificate, I studied English (H), Maths (H), Biology (H), Chemistry (H), LCVP (Common), Accounting (H) and French (H). I obtained my BSc. in Analytical and Forensic Science with a Distinction at LYIT (now ATU). I also have a TEFL Certificate for teaching English.

Milo here - i'm a first year medical student with an interest in cardiology, surgery and clincal research. Outside the lecture hall, you’ll find me pushing limits in the gym or tackling challenging trails on my mountain bike, always chasing my next adventure. I’m a life long learner and crave knowledge - I feel a high degree of satisfaction passing on this knowledge throughout my time as a tutor, from breaking down complex theories into understandable chunks of information, to finally being able to answer that tricky exam question; I will be there to support you in your journey through the education system. My teaching style consists of ensuring fundamental topics are well understood - thus building on this foundation with direct application to exam board questions. I do not teach outside of the relevant specification. Once content is well understood, lessons with me will be almost entirely exam question based, working through past paper questions together or sharing thought processes - working with me will ensure you are ready for your GCSE and A-Level exams. As a student my self I understand how daunting exams and revision can get and through my journey of improvement through trial and error I have understood that each student requires a different approach to learning and every student has the potential to achieve the top grades. It will make me extremely happy if I can help make it a little easy for students to ace their exams and perform to the best of their abilities!!!! My approach would be to ensure that students understand concepts required by their subject. - I also place a lot of importance in exam practice and mastering exam skills and a portion of my lessons will be used to do that. - During the first lesson, I aim to identify where the student is working at right now and work out techniques we can use for improvement because I believe any students can get the top grades through effective learning and revision. - Discussing revision techniques and advice on revision tips. - I really like the 'blurting' techniques and recall so be prepared for questions!!!! I have recently completed my a levels in Chemistry Biology and Psychology in addition to an epq on the topic of antibiotic substitutes. I am quite keen about education and therefore want to teach other people and help them get to their full potential!!! Since I am planning to be a biology, GCSE Science and psychology tutor at both gcse and A levels, I believe it is relevant to mention that at GCSE I did triple science, achieving all 9s and also psychology, achieving an 8. I am studying Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham and have been tutoring students from KS2 to A-Level for two years. I am passionate about making learning more fun for my pupils because that way they'll learn better. I am very good at explaining difficult concepts in different ways so that all students understand. I did A Levels in Biology (AQA), Chemistry (AQA), Economics (Edexcel). I am in my third year of Biotechnology BSc (Hons) and have studied a variety of modules during my studies that equiped me with relevant knowledge that will allow me to stretch my students who want to know more about science. I help my students reach their maximum potential by focusing on building the skills that they will need to succeed in exams. Exam skills are often the downfall of even very intelligent students. Exams are stressful and unnatural enviroments, but by practicing all types of questions together, my students have gone on to achieve grades that they would not have thought possible.

Hi, im Lucas! I am a 22 years old and was born and raised in Manchester. I am currently in the 3rd year of studying medicine and really enjoy it! I have always been a science and history nerd since i was a kid, so it is no surprise that those are my favourite topics. My hobbies include studying history, calisthenics, poetry, travelling, and language learning. For secondary school, i went to North Chadderton school in Greater Manchester where i received 2 nines, 5 eights, two sevens, and a five (in Spanish). I also went to sixth form at North Chadderton, where i studied biology, chemistry, and physics, receiving 2 A's and B respectively.

I’m Isabella, a friendly biology and chemistry tutor as well and a full-time biomedical science student at Lancaster University. I am passionate about my subject and am keen go share this with my students. In my A-levels I achieved A*A*A and nine grade 9s at GCSE. Being in the education system myself allows me to pass on helpful tips and tricks which resonate and from my experience really helped me to improve my grades. Outside of my studies and tutoring I am a keen table tennis player and compete for my university team, I also enjoy cooking and walking in nature.
