I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD. I am a final-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Wolverhampton with several years of tutoring experience working with KS2, KS3 and GCSE students in both Maths and English. I have supported students with a range of learning needs including ADHD, dyslexia and low confidence in core subjects. Hallo, ich bin Léonie! Ich studiere zurzeit einen Master in Ökologie in Schottland und arbeite gerade an meiner Masterarbeit. In Schottland habe ich auch mein Bachelorstudium in Umweltwissenschaften absolviert. Durch meine Studien habe ich hervorragende Englischkenntnisse sowie eine starke Grundlage in Biologie und Geographie erlernt. Ich bin zudem in einem Deutsch-Französischem Haushalt aufgewachsen und habe in meiner Kindheit lange in Belgien gelebt. Hierdurch sind auch meine Französischkenntnisse gut. In meiner Schulzeit habe ich selber Nachhilfe bekommen, und zwar in Mathe. Ich kann also nur zu gut nachvollziehen, wie es ist, in einem Fach mehr Unterstützung zu benötigen. Und ich kann auch sagen, dass die Nachhilfe mir sehr geholfen hat! Hoffentlich geht es euch auch so!
