Hey! I’m a 20 year-old living in London and studying Education Studies at UCL. I love reading both fiction and non-fiction books as well as reading and writing poetry. Hi I’m Mahnoor! I am a qualified English teacher with years of experience both in tutoring and school teaching. Hi I am Rhiannon and I live in sunny Glasgow but originate from Cambridge. I studied Criminology and Criminal Justice at University and I am soon to undertake a Masters in International Relations which I am incredibly excited about. I have worked in youth services and children’s homes and throughly enjoy helping people with the most valuable tool in our world, education. I studied Law, English and Philosophy at A level and also have a particular interest and education in History which has been incorporated into a lot of my studying. I love travelling, hiking and exploring the amazing Scottish highlands. Lower Level: Business Studies, English Literature GCSE: Business Studies, English Literature, English Language A-Level: Business Studies, English Literature Preferred exam board experience: AQA for both English and Business Studies, however, the Edexcel Business Studies course has a lot of crossover and therefore could teach this. Languages: German up to GCSE level. Preferred student age group: Primary Level and GCSE level however would be happy to teach up to A-Level for both subjects. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. Not only do I meet a variety of people here but it has also greatly improved my organisational skills and challenged my already creative brain to new lengths. When I get the chance to relax I do so by reading. Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. Hi! My name is Ross and I have recently graduated with a first-class degree in French, Spanish and Italian from Exeter University. I have lived abroad for two years studying in Italy and working in France. In France, I worked as a teaching assistant for a year which has meant that I already possess lot of experience working as a learning mentor and am really keen to continue. Having taken A-level History and achieved an A*, I also have a wealth of experience in essay-based subjects, as well as a strong knowledge of English and foreign literatures thanks to my degree in foreign languages.
