Hello! My name is Will and I am a Theology graduate of the University of Cambridge. I currently work as an accountant and live in London, but I love tutoring. Hi! I'm Owen and I'm a graduate of Girton College at the University of Cambridge, where I read MA Modern and Medieval Languages and MPhil Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from 2018 to 2023. During my undergraduate I studied French and German, with a focus on historical and comparative linguistics and spent a year abroad at the University of Strasbourg, studying Russian, Dutch, and Swedish, alongside comparative linguistic research. Following my interests in Germanic philology, I stayed at Cambridge for my MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic, continuing further study of Old Norse and Old English alongside a dissertation on Reflexives and Self in Old English, Old High German, and Old Saxon. Following graduation, I’ve taken up various professional, full-time roles in education consultancy, leading in-house support for personal statements, admissions tests, and interviews at hundreds of schools across the UK and around the world. I’ve delivered presentations on Oxbridge applications, preparation, and strategy to thousands of students and have designed and delivered training to help teachers at some of the UK’s top independent schools better support their own students with university applications. Hi!! My name is Eimear, I’m a 20 year old girl currently in my final year studying a BA in Philosophy, politics and economics at the University of Leeds. I’ve always been a curious individual, who enjoys studying and sharing knowledge with others. During my time at sixth form, I helped a maths GCSE class in preparation for their exams. I really enjoyed this experience and it has urged me to continue to continue with tutoring. I would love to help more people to excel in education and be really proud of their achievements - no matter how big or small! I went to St Nicholas Catholic High School where I got 10 GCSEs grade 9-7 and I stayed on at Sixth Form where I achieved A*,A,A in English Literature, Maths and Religious Studies ALevels. Alongside my ALevels, I also completed an Extended Project Qualification that was awarded an A* as well. I now study a BA in PPE at University of Leeds, where I am aiming to achieve a first class. When I was in sixth form, I helped a GCSE maths class in preparation for their exams, where I conducted 1-1 sessions with various students to go over past papers and establish areas of concern.
