Hello, I'm Taher Ahmed, a dedicated tutor with a focus on GCSE Mathematics, GCSE Science, GCSE Computer Science, A-level Mathematics, and A-level Computer Science. With over a year of experience in online tutoring and private sessions, I've assisted students in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. My background includes six months at Excel Tutor, aiding GCSE and A-level students. I believe in fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring each student feels supported. As an undergraduate at Queen Mary, my multicultural background enhances my adaptability and communication skills. Achieving top grades in A-levels and GCSE Mathematics reflects my commitment to academic excellence. With experience in sales and insights from virtual work at Vodafone and a placement at Fujitsu, I offer a diverse skill set. Volunteering at Poplar Mosque underscores my dedication to community service. Proficient in web development and programming languages, my multilingual skills in English, Italian, French, and Bengali add depth to my communication. Beyond academics, my interests in gaming, coding, chess, and sports showcase a well-rounded personality. As a nanny, I bring a blend of academic rigor, multicultural understanding, and a creative approach to engaging with children. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Computer Science with Industrial Experience at Queen Mary University of London, a program that integrates theoretical knowledge with practical applications in the field. Prior to my university studies, I completed my A-levels at Six21 in London, achieving outstanding results in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Physics. This solid foundation in the sciences laid the groundwork for my academic journey. My interest in computer science was further cultivated during my time at Langdon Park School, where I obtained excellent grades in GCSE subjects, including a grade 9 in Mathematics and Computer Science. This academic background has equipped me with a diverse skill set, encompassing both technical expertise and a broad understanding of scientific principles. I am enthusiastic about applying these skills in real-world scenarios during my industrial experience, and I am confident that my education will serve as a strong foundation for a successful career in the dynamic field of computer science.

Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I also have GCSEs in maths (9), physics (9), chemistry (9), biology (9), computer science (9), geography (8), English language(8), English literature (7) from Winterhill School.

Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise. With me as a tutor, you can expect to gain a deep insight into your subject and acquire the ability to excel in your exams. I attended Swanmore College Of Technology where I studied 10 GCSE's achieving 5 9's in (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Enterprise and marketing and English literature)- 4 8's ( Maths, Computer science, English language and History) 1 7 ( Further maths). In my A- levels I achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Further Maths, an A in Physics and an A* in an extended project qualification for which I did extensive research in quantum mechanics and furthered my understanding of the double slit experiment exponentially (in both the quantum and classical realm). Currently I am a first year undergraduate at the University Of Bath studying Theoretical Physics.

Hi! I'm a student at the University of Bristol studying a degree in Mathematics and Physics. Studying maths at a degree level means I am constantly working with complex mathematical concepts everyday, and I plan to bring that depth of understanding when tutoring GSCE and A-level Maths. I have around a year experience in tutoring GSCE Maths, which has helped me develop a clear and effective teaching style. Also, having completed my A-levels during 2025 summer and achieving an A and also a grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics, I have a strong understanding of exam content and also effective advice for revision, ensuring student success in exams. I focus on breaking down hard topics into simple clear explanations , helping to build understanding, student confidence and also exam technique through practice. I will tailor each lesson based on the students individual needs, ensuring they feel supported and make progress. I am patient, relatable and also very committed in helping students achieve the best of their potential. I studied my GSCEs in Chatham Grammar School, achieving grade 8 in GSCE Mathematics. I'm an Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London who enjoys helping students succeed in Maths and Physics. I explain concepts clearly, adapt to each student's learning style, and aim to build confidence as well as strong subject knowledge. I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Queen Mary University of London and will be entering my final year this September. My degree has strengthened my mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills through subjects such as calculus, algebra, physics and engineering principles. Before university, I studied A Levels in Maths, Chemistry and Physics, which gave me a strong foundation in STEM subjects. During school, I enjoyed helping younger students prepare for exams and explaining topics they found challenging. These experiences helped me develop clear communication skills and reinforced my interest in teaching. I believe every student learns differently, so I aim to adapt my explanations to suit each individual. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also gain confidence in their own abilities and enjoy learning.

Hi. I'm Ade, and I have been tutoring successfully for over 7 years now, with over 100 students (over 3 years on GoStudent with over 40 students), Grades 7 to 12, GCSE, and A-Levels. I have a Bachelors degree in Geophysics, a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Education, and I'm currently doing a 2nd Degree in Mathematics. I keep my lessons simple, with a focus on consistent practice. I also tailor my lessons to fit the student and get the best out of them. Simply put, I help you understand the foundations of the concepts you're trying to learn, and we'll do lots of practice. I specialize in building students skill and confidence in facing and solving problems. I'm pretty good at it because I am always learning new things myself, so I never forget what it's like be a semi-beginner, and I tend to relate very well with my students experience. This helps me communicate very effectively and support them unconditionally, all the while holding them to high expectations (based on their ability). I am a learner, and I am very good at helping others learn. I look forward to hearing from you! I obtained my first degree in the physical sciences: a Bachelors degree in Geophysics. Afterwards, I obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) to hone my skills in helping others learn and achieve their academic goals. I am currently pursuing a 2nd degree in Mathematics.
