My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions. I have recently worked to develop a student e-learning platform (www.studentgrinds.ie). I have also created youtube videos on my account 'Laura Kehoe' (youtube user ID:HmzZLwmKOZwL3SV-aONyig ) showcasing the solutions to maths exam questions for students. I am happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to tutoring sessions. Outside of my studies, I enjoy horse-riding and running.

I am a recent graduate in mathematics from University of Cambridge. I participated at International Mathematical Olympiad and won silver medal. I have been teaching mathematics for nearly 6 years and my students vary from secondary school to university. I have experience with both online and in person tutoring. Some of my students made incredible achievements including winning medals at International level and making it to Oxford. I am incredibly friendly and very enthusiastic about discussing different maths topics. I can help you with your school curriculum, math olympiad or entrance exam preparation. My teaching methodology differs slightly from the traditional way. I like to show students the big picture of a mathematical concept and explain the motivations behind the definitions and theorems, before going deep into a topic. Being an avid problem solver, I can help students improve their problem solving ability instead of just showing the algorithm of a solution. I as a person is always very much passionate about mathematics and love to discuss different topics any time.

Hello! Dia dhuit! Hola! Is mise Anysia. My name is Anysia and I am from the wild west of Ireland, a place called Galway. My mother tongue is Irish and also speak English, some French and Spanish. I have a big family of 6 and lots of animals. I have dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, goats, turkeys and geese. I'm a positive and happy person with a passion to share my knowledge. For years I taught Irish in an Irish College in Galway, you may have heard of it - Colaiste Lurgan. We have become very popular over the years by translating, creating and preforming popular english songs (but making them much better) and recording them in Irish. Take a look on YouTube - TG Lurgan - you might be able to spot me in a few videos! I was an Irish teacher by day and a kayaking instructor by evening. My house was a 'bean an ti' house which means every three weeks during the summer months, we had 14-16 new students living with us. Everyone attended the college and had fun all the while learning and practicing our native language.

Experience with: KS3, KS4, KS5 Languages: English, Italian, Spanish (fluent), French and British Sign Language (basic) Experience with disabilities/special needs: exam anxiety, nervous speakers Preferred student age group: Secondary school I am a recent Russell Group University graduate who has achieved a First class degree in Modern Languages, with a Distinction in Spoken Spanish and Italian. I fell in love with the Italian language over a decade ago and have been speaking it ever since! My relationship with Spanish started during my University career, but quickly developed during my year of study abroad in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I have over two years' experience sharing my knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with students of various ages, and have supported pupils to prepare for exams or simply learn for fun. Having previously been a nervous speaker myself, my goal is to show students how capable they really are of holding their own in another language. I always make sure to identify pupils' learning preferences and areas of difficulty, and tailor my lessons to support each individual. In this way, I help learners to build stronger understanding of key concepts, excellent listening, reading and writing skills, as well as newfound confidence when speaking.

I took up GoStudent for my son as was thrown into learning Irish after we moved at the age of 11. He was so upset at not understanding what was going on in class, he had missed all the basics, and his class was so far ahead of him that he used to come home in tears. The setup was easy, the tutor is extremely nice and within 4 months I have seen an incredibly marked improvement, not only in his work but also his confidence in tackling it. He now can complete his homework on his own which is important as I don't speak any Gaelic myself. I think online tutoring is also extremely time efficient, not only for me but for the tutors who dont have to factor travel into their prices or time. GoStudent isnt just value for money.... it it in fact... priceless!
