Hey, I’m Sanchi Chauhan, Here’s a little about me: I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and have over 6 years of teaching experience. I’ve worked with students from Grade 3 to Grade 10, and I’m also experienced in teaching higher-level mathematics, including A-level content. My teaching style is friendly, approachable, and focused on creating a safe, encouraging space where students feel free to ask questions and engage in the learning process. I aim to make math not just easy to understand, but also enjoyable and relevant to real life. Whether it’s solving word problems, understanding core concepts, or exploring patterns in everyday life, I believe in making numbers come alive. In my online teaching journey, I’ve also had the opportunity to work with students with ADHD and Autism, and I approach every learner with patience, adaptability, and a focus on their individual strengths. I believe that when children feel heard and supported, their confidence grows—and so does their love for learning. Many parents have shared that their children not only improved academically, but also began to look forward to their math lessons. For me, that’s the ultimate reward. I look forward to bringing that same energy, care, and clarity to your child’s learning journey! I began my academic journey with a strong foundation in Science and Mathematics, having completed my 12th grade with these core subjects. I then pursued my graduation in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, which gave me a broad and analytical understanding of the sciences. I went on to complete a Master’s degree in Mathematics, deepening my knowledge and sharpening my skills in both theoretical and applied aspects of the subject. To further enhance my ability to teach and connect with students effectively, I also earned a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree. This training equipped me with the right pedagogical techniques, classroom management skills, and child psychology insights—especially important for creating a positive and engaging learning environment. Together, my academic background and teaching qualifications allow me to approach each lesson with both subject expertise and an understanding of how children learn best.

Hello, My name is Sridevi! Being a Science graduate with Maths has always made me fascinated with maths. I have a thorough understanding of the curriculum as I have worked in Primary school as a teaching assistant which gives me experience working with SEN children and gifted and talented children which enables me the knack for pitching the lessons and hooking them to the lessons. My interventions and commitment to inspiring children in school who had maths anxiety made them change their perspective toward mathematics and boosted their confidence and scores in SATs. I also tutored Vedic Maths and Hindi for charity and during the pandemic, I quickly adapted to virtual learning and had to prepare my slides accordingly. I have 8 years of experience working in primary school and tutoring primary and secondary maths and my students especially enjoyed Vedic Maths: the techniques of solving mathematically mentally and quicker ways of solving them. Recently I am doing my PGCE secondary Maths being a trainee teacher has doubled my knowledge and experience to share with young minds to excel in their studies in school. Assisting students with homework, projects, test preparation, papers, research, and other academic tasks. Working with students to help them understand key concepts, especially those learned in the classroom. I usually start my lessons with meditation to calm pupils’ agitated minds to relax and get focused. My lessons have knowledge retrieval from previous lessons so the students could recap their previous lessons and problem-solving questions which shows the importance of maths in real life also at the end of the class, we have a quiz and multiple-choice questions which enables the child to get motivated and focused and helps me to pitch the lessons for the next lesson or set a task as homework. My personal skills such as patience, empathy, and active listening will enable my students to persevere in their studies. About Me: Graduate of Physics Diploma in Computer Applications PGCE Maths Experience: Teaching assistant in primary school. Tutored in a charity organization (taught Vedic Maths and Hindi) and tuition center Secondary Maths Teacher Languages: English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu Exam Board Experience: AQA and Edexcel

One of my favourite things to do is helping people learn. And not just forcefully learning and memorising, but learning in a way they understand. Learning in a way easiest and least challenging for them as an individual. I love teaching Maths because I think it’s amazing how there are so many different ways to get to the correct answer. So even if you might not understand how one way works, that’s absolutely okay because that’s not the only way to the answer. Whichever way works for you in understanding how to get to the answer, is the way we’ll figure out and work with together. And once we do it together, you’ll have the confidence and knowledge to do it independently. That being said, I also love Biology and Chemistry because science is also great. And believe it or not, but the answers are usually easier to find than you’d think. Whether you're wanting to excel and get the top grade, or wanting to pass a subject you're not really in love with, I think everyone has the potential to achieve what they want and continue to advance forward in life. Including you. Whether you believe it or not, you have the potential and ability to succeed. Even if you might need a little help or nudge in seeing that ability, that’s absolutely fine – and I would love to be that person to help give you that encouragement in seeing your potential. We've got this. You’ve got this!

My name is Rebecca and I am from South Wales, United Kingdom. I have experienced living in different places around the UK and I lived in London for several years, which was an amazing experience to meet people from international countries and learn many things about their culture and interests too. I enjoy cooking at home, as formally I have trained on the job as a professional chef, mainly in seafood/fish restaurants and Japanese cuisine. Also, I like going for a walk down the coastline and taking in the scenic views, photography and sometimes video gaming when the time arises. For over a year, I have been teaching English online as a second language to Taiwanese and Chinese students, both juniors and adults. Which became an interest whilst I was teaching sushi classes in London. I decided to advance onto teaching specifically English and conversational topics chosen by students, to further improve their overall English language. From education I gained a TEFL level 5 teaching qualification and a BSc (Hons) in Food and Consumer Management from Birmingham University. Which focused on live industry projects within the FMCG sector, nutrition and the business elements within the food industry. I enjoy cooking at home, particularly Japanese cuisine and seafood dishes that I learnt previously as a professional chef.

I am Miriam Hajj, a 22-year-old dedicated medical student with a strong passion for education. I aspire to become an expert medical doctor and ultimately a university professor, where I can guide and inspire students to achieve their academic goals in the most effective and supportive manner. I firmly believe that education is not merely a requirement, but a pathway for personal and intellectual growth. I have been tutoring for approximately seven years, since I was in college, supporting students across various levels, including GCSE and A-Level. I have also worked in different educational centres, particularly with students who had failed their national exams. I organized intensive one-month courses focusing on biology, chemistry, math and physics, and I am proud to say that almost all of my students successfully passed their exams. I have also tutored students preparing for the DELF exam for those aspiring to study in France. During medical school, I further honed my tutoring skills by organizing intensive three-month sessions for students preparing for medical and engineering school entrance exams. I developed rigorous study plans, conducted mock exams, and provided personalized feedback, resulting in a high success rate among my students. Beyond my studies, I am an active person involved in various extracurricular activities. I have volunteered with a charity organization, where I received training in social skills, psychology, and other relevant areas. Subsequently, I became a trainer myself, conducting workshops for youth. I also took Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and child protection trainings; I subsequently volunteered at a centre that provides care for children who have experienced abuse Leveraging my passion for education and my extensive tutoring experience, I currently serve as the Local Officer of Medical Education (LOME) within my university. I am fluent in English, French, and Arabic, and I am learning Spanish. I am passionate about creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students can thrive. I believe my strong communication skills, dedication to helping others, and proven record of accomplishment in academic support make me a highly suitable candidate for this tutoring position. I am keen to contribute my skills and knowledge to support students in achieving their academic goals and fostering a lifelong love of learning. Throughout my secondary education, I consistently excelled academically, achieving top results in my class. Driven by a lifelong passion for science and medicine, I excelled in my studies and achieved a national rank of 12 in the national examinations. I pursued rigorous academic studies, focusing on subjects like mathematics (algebra, statistics, and analytical geometry), physics (mechanics and electromagnetism), and chemistry (general, solutions, and organic). This rigorous foundation was complemented by 9 biology courses, encompassing topics such as histology, cytology, botany, genetics, anatomy, vegetal reproduction, animal reproduction , geology and embryology. The path to medical school proved highly competitive. I successfully navigated the demanding pre-medical program, which included a rigorous first year with a challenging curriculum. I then successfully competed in the highly selective medical school entrance examination, facing fierce competition from over 1000 applicants for only 100 places. The examination comprised rigorous written tests in all subjects, including a crucial English and French language proficiency test. I am proud to have secured 50th place. I am currently in my fifth year of medical school, eagerly anticipating the commencement of my hospital internship in the coming months.
