I tutor GCSE Maths and A-level Politics Exam board experience: Edexcel and AQA I have experience tutoring KS3 and sixth-form (11-18) My main aims as a tutor are to engage students with content that challenges them in a rewarding way, but also connect them to content that facilitates a change in their mindset. My hobbies range from poker and chess to schooling my friends at the pool table. Hi there! My name is Sahil, a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Warwick studying Economics. I have been tutoring students online in Maths, Physics and Economics from all over the world for over 2 years in interactive and engaging 1:1 lessons. My teaching style focuses on learning content first before applying it to questions. Therefore, lessons will consist of content learning which includes detailed notes on the topic and in-depth walkthroughs of every single question type relating to that topic. This would be followed by practise questions on that topic first with assistance in the lesson and then homework to be completed without assistance to test if the teaching has been successful. I particularly specialise in exam preparation and give my students regular tests to ensure content learned is tested throughout, this way there is less stress on crammed revision which has been proven to boost exam performance. I have tutored Maths from KS3 all the way up to GCSE and A-Level and I also specialise in Further Maths tuition. I have also tutored in Economics at A-Level. Through my experience over the last 2 years, I am up to date with most exam board content and curriculum changes so my lessons are completely relevant to current mark schemes. In an exam environment where it is even harder to get the top grades due to the consequences of grade inflation over the past few years, I would love the opportunity to really help and push your child to achieve their full potential in their studies.

Scientifically minded, I will give you the tools and techniques needed to understand and master difficult concepts that may seem obscure to you. I also enjoy expressing my creativity through playing the violin and painting watercolour, and these activities provide me with an outlet for my stress. I’m not the best at sports (I have zero coordination) but I still have fun even when making a fool of myself! As a tutor, I will not only share my knowledge and study techniques with you, but I will also endeavour to make my lessons interesting and engaging. Observing the improvements in my tutee's performance is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I firmly believe that excelling in a subject is a question of hard work, as well as confidence and self-belief; and I hope to inspire these qualities in you. I am 20 and I am currently a third year medical student at Newcastle University. I'm originally from France, but I grew up in Dubai, where I studied under the British curriculum. Although chemistry and biology were my two favourite subjects at school, I also enjoyed the challenge of maths and physics, where I achieved A* in my A-levels, and 9s in my GCSEs. I passed my ABRSM level 8 in the violin with a Merit and I have played the instrument for 10 years. I am fluent in French and English, and conversational in Spanish (CEFR level B2).

Patient and friendly tutor who gives results Hello, I’m Alegra! I’m currently studying Chemistry at the University of St Andrews, where I’m developing my passion for science and analytical problem-solving. I achieved A* grades in Maths and Chemistry and an A in Physics at A Level — subjects that strengthened my logical thinking and deepened my appreciation for how scientific ideas connect to the real world. I’ve always loved helping others learn, and I have over two years of tutoring experience. During my A Levels, I worked both privately with individual students and supporting younger year groups at school, helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance. Seeing students grow in confidence and reach their goals is incredibly rewarding, and it’s what motivates me to tutor. Currently studying Chemistry at the University of St Andrews, building a strong grounding in inorganic, organic and physical chemistry alongside extensive laboratory experience. Alongside my degree, I bring a solid school background: I have completed my A Levels with A* grades in Maths and Chemistry and an A in Physics, as well as a full set of GCSEs including top grades in Maths and Science. This combination of university-level study and strong GCSE/A Level foundations means I understand both the school curriculum and how it connects to more advanced topics, which helps me explain ideas clearly and support students at different stages in their education.
