I graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with an MPhys physics degree in which I proudly achieved a first with honours. At heart I am inquisitive and hungry to learn, and I love to pass on what I've learnt to those around me. My passions are science (more specifically physics), gaming, exercise and learning as much as I can In general. My background is in physics, I achieved a MPhys physics degree with honours, my masters project was 'An Investigation into Gravitational Wave Interactions' in which I created models in Python to help predict the effects of gravitational waves on the orbits of the solar system and how the orbits of black holes; matching the later to real life data. Hello! I am Reeshma and I offer tutoring in a variety of subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, 11+ and UKCAT/BMAT admission tests. I can cover KS3, GCSE and A-level content from any exam board and will always ensure the content covered in lessons is relevant to the tutee’s requirements. I have the most experience with AQA for the Sciences and Edexcel for Mathematics. I also scored highly on the UKCAT/BMAT tests and am prepared to share my wisdom to tutees as I know what the problematic areas are and the best ways to tackle them. I am currently studying medicine and hence still very familiar with many of the concepts from A-level Biology and Chemistry, as much of what I study stems from knowledge acquired from GCSE and A-level Sciences. ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this.
